    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Since he has filed some official reports? It should remain on his record but I still send him a invoice.. Good point however to make sure some of the evidence is on file some where...

HE may be getting off super lucky... Not only would I have filed a claim for theft because he never sent a payment (blackheads) a invoice for the value amount.. as he "has changed his mind" on the deal, I still charge him for the shipping back...
He was finically responsible for shipping either on his snakes, or yours.. back to you,, ..

Just a thought.. On thing I learned or have learned scammers love the less formal not agreed on value stuff.. kind of shocked to see it handled this way..
Yeh I know word should count.. but not the world we live in..

Harder to get stuff with online.. But in the past working with a online buyer an animals involved.. agreements at least in the dog fancy where the TOS are way stricter.. co-breeding aggrements co-ownerships.. etc etc.. generally contracts of some sort have to be used.. Sending a invoice/contract by e mail, and each party using Priority mail is super cheap and easy.. and quite fast.. If I have someone inconvenienced by sighing a contract and paying the mail charge.. when I also will be sending a physical copy back to.. YEH not doing business with them..
 
Unfortunately it wont "stay on his record" as there is no such record. His name will remain intbe police report which is accessible to all depts that request it, but more likely itll just stay in the cyber world for that dept. He was never formally charged nor fingerprinted. At least with the BOI it'll stay here. Is there a way to Dd his growing list of aliases to the title? Yes he has gotten off severely easy on this but to be honest Clark did what he could to ensure his animals were safe and coming back, the shipping cost the kid will never refund. Hopefully the guardians will man up and do the right think but I highly doubt it. I hope the other guy who got scammers d by this kid makes a police report and goes after him, the kid needs to provide proof of the dead animal. This kid will continue to do this and I hope everyone in the herp hobby remembers his name, he will be back, and he will not change.

I would do what I had and pay what I had to ensure the animals where safe for the record too... I also see Clarks silence, up to that point as a way to keep silent not tip off.. get the animals back.. HAS been confirmed.. Clark please just for the record on this thread post the pictures of the animals safe and alive.. and back in your possession..
Why scammers get away with this crap.. is to many people trust, but also don't press a issue.. Scammers see these things as simple money issues, not a animal issue.. as a money issue they figure they can get away with it if the cost to get caught is to expensive.. they forget what people WILL do no finical gain for the animals.. that will always be their failure..

Still think it takes a very questionable mind to stage violence.. when hell a simple arrived DOA stage pictures/claims would work.. the same way.. one hopes that the someone takes note of that.. Disturbing..

Dakota still claims that Adam's ivory did die. Unfortunately, Adam has far less evidence than I had. I've tried to convince him that he should at least pay Adam for the ivory, but it has been in vain.

It snowed here last night, so they should be shipping out tomorrow. I want healthy snakes, not frozen snakes... Believe me, as soon as I have them in hand, and can post pics (after work on the day I get them) I'll post pics of them, lol!
 
Any minute the FedEx van should pull up with them in it. My nails are all bitten off. Talk about a tough waiting game!

Glad they are back, and this Kid just ruined his chances of getting a job once employer does a background check/internet check
 
I'm glad they are back also. I'm thinking there is a lot to this story we will never know, but also I'm thinking that some of the links sent to various authorities will have the Runde name memorialized in more places than the BOI.

Why I dont do trades anymore unless in person. I never been taken for but always a first for everything.

If someone MUST trade and ship, they do so first.
