    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Here are a few pics, anyone have any idea what this is? It was found in a fresh fecal flotation from a WC Waglers Viper exported from Malaysia. The dots lined up in the strands are really about 30-40 smaller dots that seem to be dispersed towards the end of the strands and have been found through out the fecal. The magnification is at 400x.

Well, I'm not discounting that they are not dark hair strands, but if they are, man, it had me, my vet, and many others 100% fooled. Looks nothing like hair strains I've seen in fecals before, guess I got to see if any fo the mouse hairs at the store look like any of these under the scope. Let's hope my ignorance shows through on this one, I really would like to see this just end up being a few dark mouse hairs.

one other possibilty

it might not be from a mouse are there any odd marsupial critters
over there .

or the only other idea I cam come up with is they might be strands of some type of plant material blue green algee?

I'm no expert but it looks like some type of natural fiber to me too. At first I was thinking partially undigested plant material (like from the stomach of the animal eaten by the snake) but the way those dots are...yes, strands of hair sounds much more plasable. Can you look up small animals of malaysia and do some comparison research? What about the hair on small monkeys, and other "non-traditional" (lol) food sources?
