In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well, the freakest thing happened today. Very eariler today (I had trouble sleeping) , one of my breeding groups in my Leshock albino breeding program had a hatchling albino leopard gecko in it! First, I can't believe I missed an egg in the laying container, but you know, things happens. Second, the only male to breed the adult females in the enclosure was my het. Leshock albino, and all the females were Tremper Albinos. This means that once and for all it has been proven that the Leshock strain albino is the same thing as the Tremper. Sort of bummed out that it turned out that way, but at least now I know.

Justyn,

That's kind of a bummer that it is the same genetics as the Tremper. Would have been fun to have another set of genes to play with. At least the mystery is solved.

Ian

CONGRATS! And Thank you, Justyn

It kinda is a bummer. If I remember correct, this Het Male was direct from LeShock, right? I guess we can put this one to bed, now, huh?

How do you think it all happened, then? Did both of the breeders get an albino from the same source, and market them as their own? I guess Tremper is right at least a little bit when he says on his Albino FAQ that it's his opinion all of the lines are the same...at least two of them, and they originated from an import shipment from Pakistan in 1996.

Thanks for the update, I was wondering about this a few days ago.

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. COngrats for solving the mystery.

Justyn, I hope you aren't too dissappointed? I am sorry that you recieved the results that you did. I do have some other questions though. Did you also breed this het male to the other 2 already known strains? I would like to know the results from those as well? If you have not then I think that you still should give it a try, you never know???

Even though it a bummer to find out, it still kind of exciting to know that you did find it out. genetics are so fun and frustrating! lol

Good call Kelli! I knew that something was wrong, because there is no way that Justyn would have missed that egg for the full incubation time.
