    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I called Sal after he emailed me. I got through to him the first try. He said he was getting a Pay Pal account set up and would send me my money in a few days.

I haven't heard anything since. I emailed him a few days ago and so far no reply...

He told me 2 weeks ago that he would replace the snakes. He was suppose to ship them on monday March 1st. He said he was going to get them from a Ben Seigel. The snakes never came and since then he hasn't returned any phone calls. I find it hard to believe that the leopards spots have changed. I suppose if we want to find him we should start flipping rocks.

Well.... I just got a call from Sal telling me he just got his reptile license in the mail today....

Mark.... he also told me that the reason he hasn't shipped you the Balls, is because he didn't have his license yet, but, now that he has it, he will be shipping you the Balls sometime next week.... he's got 6 of your Balls in hand (lol) and will be getting 4 more for you early next week and shipping them asap....

Mike.... he also said that he knows he owes you $155 for the cages you never received, and he will take care of that, also early next week.... the reason he hasn't been able to email you is because his computer went caputzky.... it will be fixed very shortly and then you will hear from him....

He really seems to want to make all his wrongs right.... how bout giving him the chance to do so??.... without all the bs....

You all know his phone number.... he asks that you call him any time....

Well here it is in a nutshell.

In July I ordered a lot of ball pythons from Sal for 175 dollars. When the lot of 10 came they all died within 2 days. I was in contact with Sal these days and he told me because I let him know what was going on he would replace. To his credit he was pleasant and at that time I had no problem getting a hold of him. 2 weeks later I recieved a batch of 5 from a South Carolina address which i believe was Sal's partner at the time. These snakes had ticks on them and would not eat. They died within I believe a week. I talked to Sal and he agreed to replace them again. When I talked to him he said everyone was getting bad ball pythons. Because of the financial difficulties from these snakes and other things according to Sal I told Sal I would be willing to wait for this year 2004 when the new batches came out so that he would be able to take care of the other things.

When I found this website and read that he had left New York and no one knew where he was I got concerned that I would neither get the snakes or reimbursed. Since then I have talked to Sal and he said he could get the snakes to that week and would go check for the gender ratio I was looking for. I was to call him monday and he was send them that week. Well I called him monday and no less than a total of 5 times within the two weeks of that monday. I was getting concerned when he didn't return the calls just to let me know what was going on or answer the phone.

I can tell you that he got a full time job driving a large tow truck in Boca, and I seriously doubt he will be back in the reptile or cage business.... of course, I can't guarantee it....

This led me to believe that he wasn't going to fulfill our agreement. I am glad to hear he got his license and I am more than willing to give him a second chance etc.... I only ask from Sal that he keep me informed as to what is going on so I don't read into any one else's posts. I don't see Sal as a bad guy as of yet and when I was able to get a hold of him he always seemed more than willing to work our issue out. I apologize to you Sal for reading into other posts and letting my concerns turn to frustration. I will call you tomarrow.

The only thing I ever wanted from you was his phone number a while ago because you were the only one who knew where he was. That is it. As far as you getting dragged into this it has been by your choice. By no means do I expect you play mediator or fix any problems. Although after your last post I feel confident that Sal and I will work things out.

All I said was the truth. And Sal owes me $165, not $155...

I have been more than patient (largely because I have other things going on). I am pretty sure I've been reasonable, even polite.

I certainly am "rooting" for Sal to get his life back in order.

Those of us who are on the short side of these deals are consistently telling the same story.

The BS is coming from somewhere else, I fear.

Still, I remain patient and relatively cool about things (since interest rates are so low....).

I only get involved when I want to.... when we spoke on the phone you seemed like a very nice guy and just the type of person that I would WANT to help if I could.... you also didn't have to post that you would call Sal tomorrow as he can't read it because his computer is down....

As I said before, the ONLY reason he hasn't sent you the Balls is because (as everyone pointed out), he didn't have his license to do so??.... That's why I was kind of surprised when Rob said, "Same ole Sal".... it was you (Rob) that pointed this no license fact out to him, so you, of all people, should have realized this??.... BTW, he said that he was very grateful to you for giving him the heads-up about the license, it just never occurred to me....

Mark... just call him tomorrow and he will explain....

See.... this is the kind of help I don't mind giving at all.... all it cost me is a little time and typing.... no money is involved for me.... of course.... all tips are gladly accepted??.... lol

Mike.... when I said "bs", I wasn't referring to you at all.... you are the one that the money is owed to.... you had every right to be upset....

He said that you gave him $125 plus shipping.... it was ME that just assumed there was only $30 in shipping because that's what the packages I send out usually are.... I just forgot that they were heavy cages and probably cost a little more to ship.... I'm sure you'll get every penny that's coming to you....

To clarify
When I talked to Sal around March 1st he stated that he could ship them to me without a license because he was not selling them so to speak. He may have found different since then which is fine, but I did not know that it had changed hence my apprehension when I couldn't get a hold of him. Anyways I'm done with this thread until things either go sour ( which at this point I don't foresee happening ) or we get our things resolved.

I am generally a nice guy (I would like to think) and have a lot of tolerance and patience, but if I feel I am being taken advantage of or that my kindness is mistaken for weakness than I can be an (fill in the blank). At this point I still have patience (it waned a little the other day) and look forward to posting this is resolved and in the end Sal handled his business. I know some people want to bash Sal and at this point while I can get a hold of him and keep communications open I am not one of them.

Well Boca Reptiles a.k.a. Sal is back at selling online on KS. Has he taken care of the people he still owes? I have not heard yet that he has.
 
I called the number posted 1-516-883-5538 twice the same guy answered twice (did not sound like Sal). I doubled checked with him to make sure I was dialing the right number. He told me I had dialed the right number but there is no Sal there. So that number isn't to Sal anymore. I will try your boca reptiles number. If your computer is up and running please e-mail me Sal.

That is the number Neil had posted on page 4. I had tried it before and got a hold of Sal. It probably is a cell phone that he has now gotten rid of, but don't know for sure. I called his boca reptile number and was able to leave a message for him.

Slick Sal is with Boca Reptiles in Florida..

Anyone whos searching for him for failed business through Upstate Exotics can find him there. His wife still owns Upstate Exotics so therefore they are both legally responsible for it. Im told he is selling animals from a storage shed that he keeps and doesnt bother to check on for weeks at a time in Florida (cruelty to animals). Theres a number for him floating around somewhere here. The same business only a different name and location, probably much worse. Maybe "Animal Cops Florida" should look into his storage shed.

I just hope reality is that there are no animals in that shed, for all of those animals sakes.

To whom it may concern!!!

I know that everyone has always something bad to say about me. Well here it goes....

The only person that would EVER know that i rented a storage unit would be DAN PARMA/ SNAKESDEN and it was only used for storage!

The reason behind the last persons coment was that he is a friend of DAN'S and they just want to start trouble.

I had NEVER or will NEVER put any animal in a storage unit and if anyone out there wants to call who ever they want and see for themselves knock themelves out.... just waisting there time!

I have just found out that a so called good freind named DAN PARMA/SNAKESDEN had just ripped me off for over $5000 worth of animals and have proof of it. I trusted him like a brother and he took advantage of me when i was down and out, so now he has a few friends coming on here to scar my name as i am the bad "BAD GUY '' again... but thats OK.... Just one thing i have to say about that is check out the thread that says "DAN PARMA/ SNAKESDEN and everyone will see what i'm talking about!!!

The proof is in the pudding!!!
