    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi Sal, long time no see. Not long enough I suppose but them's the breaks.

As you know from previous dealings with the BOI, you really need to provide proof of your accusations. YOU in particular need to do this.

A list written by you with amounts of what YOU say you paid for the animals is simply NOT good enough.

Let's see some invoices. Let's see some reciepts. IF, and that's a really big if as far as I'm concerned, you actually were ripped off then even you deserve justice. It's a two edged sword though so be careful what you ask for.

Have you made good an ALL the bad deals you had out and uncompleted? All the cages that were never shipped or broken during shipping have been made good on? All the animals you sold to people have been shipped and were honestly represented?

Please post proof that what you say is true. Verifiable proof that can be checked for veracity by readers here. If that proof is not forthcoming or is for ANY reason unavailable.......... well someone said Karma was going to get you someday. Is it today or do you have the proof?

Rainbows? They are paid for. So please talk with your good friend and find out that they have indeed been paid for before you come on here accusing me.
As far as the snakes I bought from you, I have written to Ali, now if you talked to her regularly you would know that also.
She seemed to forget that I sent you two money BEFORE I got the snakes.
Now lets talk about the snakes. Since you were the one I made the deal with and bought from...... And Ali was upset about the seperation, I did not go to her, and you were nowhere to be found.
Those snakes..... well, gee, where do I start? I wanted to know where they came from, just like the possible hets I got from you earlier in the year WITH PROOF OF WHERE THEY CAME FROM, (which by the way are doing fine)
I never received that proof, after I got them all I got from you was they came from different trades. I know why now I never got any proof. Two are DEAD. One is under a DR. care and she is hopefully going to make it. They DIED not too long after getting here, after regurging and the mites, well, lets talk about the MITES!!!! They were infested with them. I have NEVER had or SEEN mites in my life!!!!!!! These were full of them, they shed and they were EVERYWHERE!!!!! NO other breeder I have bought from ever sent me ANYTHING with mites, let alone infested with them.
This I blame on YOU!! YOU were the one who said you take care of the animals. YOU said you would let me know where they came from like the first two I bought from you, then I get how you dont remember!!!
So yeah, I did write Ali, I will be hopefully talking with her today if we can get on the phone at the same time. But don't YOU go spouting things you don't know about.
So your batting average with me is one good one bad. Not good odds, really a crap shoot!!!
 
Ask his buddy MR.Parma where he bought them and who from..

I made a purchase through Upstate Exotics once of 2 animals for a business I helped out a few years ago, but have seen more than a few of his packages unpacked at other businesses though with the same exact results, MITES big time bad MITES, and you know Ive never seen them on any animals from any other reptile suppliers animals aside from Sals. I was contacted by someone seeking help who traded a large ornate nile monitor for a banded WT from UPstate Exotics, the banded WT had big time MITES BAD!! He asked me what to do, I told him if it was a purcahse to get his money back but since he traded he was better off learning the hard way not to deal with Sal and told him how to treat the animal and it recovered beautifully (with help of some university vets for the other health problems, yes this was posted all over Ksnake.com monitor forums). Obviously if Ive heard rumor around the business for months about Sals life and dealings, they are no secret, yet Ive spoken with Mr Parma in the past on the phone once (not about Sal either) it was about advice on a monitor lizard. I guess the words been out about Sal, his animals, and dealings by pure virtue of life coming back and knocking on his own front door after he tries to get away with too much.
Maybe to verify any info that is given out here his wife should be asked by an individual who isnt involved in this, of course she owns Upstate exotics and the website, so call or email her in your seeking of owed money, see how much of these crooked dealings she knows about, or even if she knows where he disappeared to or why he went there, she might be happy to know a bit about him. Can any of the claims against MR Parma be proven or are they an attempt by a cornered rat to bite whos near to him. If the case is Sals to prove dig up reciepts to prove all of this and go the legal route, but if your just trying to SMEAR Mr Parmas name them in your own filth then give up because you have enough problems with your own dealings, you dont need to make problems for someone else because your animals probably died right after or during delivery, sounds common with many of his customers, Ive given advice to a few.

How have we worked things out? Last I remember you were suppose to ship the snakes last week for like the 3rd time. They never came and when I tried to call you for the tracking number both your lines weren't working. All I have wanted was the snakes replaced and you keeping me updated as to when that was going to happen. You have not done that.
So if you consider me sending you money and you sending me dying snakes as working things out then I guess in your eyes we have. In my eyes we have not and at this point you don't need to call or email me unless it's with a tracking number, because I'm sick of hearing your false promises.

I don't get what you mean by "worked out" salito.

Mark says you're still lying to him about when you'll ship. He say he still has neither the snakes HE PAID for nor a refund if you are not going to ship them.

I don't understand the "worked out" part. Do you have it "worked out" that you will, ONCE AGAIN, steal from a former customer? Do you have it "worked out" that his payment was really a "zero interest" loan for you to do whatever it is you do with yourself?

What, EXACTLY, is your definition of "worked out"? Is it some mystery that not all are privy to or am I the only one who doesn't understand?

Maybe it's just the same ol' lying, theiving, conniving, cheating, lowlife slimeball sal as always.

I think that is one of the biggest problems we see with certain individuals.... promises and no actual reality. I have to say that I have been guilty of that once, I kept promising the money to this one seller (Though I never actually said the check was in the mail until it WAS in the mail), and it took me awhile to get it there. I would NOT be surprised if he would refuse to do business with me. BUT, it was the one time. There are no excuses for such behaviour on a repeated basis. I learned my lesson from that one transaction. I made a promise to buy the animals, and then didn't have the money (they weren't to be shipped for a while). Now I do not even say I'm going to buy an animal until I have the cash in hand, and I pay right away. Sal on the other hand, has a very strong strong history of saying "it's in the mail" and only a few times is that ever true that I know of. So much lack of communication, false promises, and bad quality merchandise, in addition to everything else I've heard about him, keeps me from even beginning to contemplate purchasing from him. I'm VERY glad I know what alias he's using now. I was in KS classifieds and saw a snake I really wanted, but when I saw the name of who was selling it, I knew it didn't matter WHAT there was about the animal... it would be a bad deal no matter what.

Oh, and I do wonder.... he was selling a Tangerine corn snake... anyone know what that is?

Tangerine corns are an offshoot of the creamsicle corn. John Schmitt of Suncoast Herps is one person who immediately comes to mind in regards to those who are working with this cultivar.

That being said, I just queried the Division of Corporations again, and there is still no registration for Boca Reptiles.
 
According to Florida FWC he is licensed under his name and Boca Reptiles. I guess I will have to talk to my buddy at FWC and let him know that the ficticious name "Boca Reptiles" is not registered therefore that license will not be valid and should be revoked.

Sal I see you are implicating me in trying to scam you in another thread. You feel you have seen the light and that I'm trying to get extra snakes from you. Come on Sal. Seriously you are bringing this on yourself. I have been more than polite and patient in dealing with you. I have given you plenty of chances like a friend of yours asked me to do. Yet you keep lying to me. Why not just tell me have no intention of refunding my money or sending new snakes. All I have asked is that you keep in contact with me and you repeatedly you have failed to do so. The only time you contact me is when i post on the BOI or when Neil put your number up. Remember that BUDDY you called me swearing about me pulling all this ##$@ when all I did was post that the number that was previously posted was not your number. I didn't ask anyone to repost your number and even posted I had called and left a message with Boca Reptiles or something to that effect. Back to the reason I posted was becuase you had not contacted me. During that phone call you say you emailed me 3 times. I did not receive though emails and never did you even said you emailed me when we were on the phone which never came through. I haven't had any problems with anyone else's emails so I don't really know if you actually did or didn't.
This saga begins last July when I ordered a lot of 10 ball pythons from you. You did not ship those on the day you said you were going to but the next day. Shortly after I got them they started to convulse and writher. Turn on their backs and gape their mouths. I called you immedaitely with the problem and kept you informed by phone and email. You gave me advice to put them in water but not force them to stay. To make sure the heat was ok which it was at 82 degrees and you said that was fine. I asked you if I was doing something wrong and you said no it was a bad batch this year and everyone was getting them it happens. You told me you would replace them.

You accuse me of trying to scam you for extra ball pythons. You yourself said you sent me another lot of 10 replacements and that I said I only got 5. Well the only truth in that statement is I only did receive 5. They were shipped to me from South Carolina which I paid the shipping (I don't know if that is common practice when replacing but I did it to make the transaction go smoothly and I felt bad about the snakes dying. I tried everything you told me and still had to watch these guys die). Which I found out later was a partner of yours named Ken Yates. So you never actually shipped me the replacement Ken did. These 5 all had ticks and refused to eat. They lived maybe a week and a half. I immediately called you and told you there were only 5 and kept you informed of their progress through the whole ordeal. You have called Ken a cheat, liar etc....
You said that you would replace them again but did not have any left at that time. At that time I trusted you and told you I had no problem waiting because you were having problems because of all the bad batches you had gotten of ball pythons. I am very loyal when someone is honest and fair with me so I had no problem waiting because at that time I felt you were being honest and fair with me.
Now fast forward I was at the upstate exotic website in the end of Dec or beginning of January to look at what animals you had for sale. I was thinking about buying a few different things and wanted to see what you had. Ironically when I was there I found a link to a thread on the boi about your problems with Ken Yates. Later I decided to check out the link and that in a nutshell is how I found fuana classifieds. Check when I became a member. So you claiming I am using the fauna classifieds to take advantage of you is to say the least amusing. Once I became a member I searched upstate exotics. Very interesting reading. I got concerned when I found out that you were no longer in New York and no one knew where you were. That is when I posted on the BOI.
Honestly now I believe you were never going to get a hold of me after your move. Well since then I have talked to you numerous times and at least 3 times you stated you going to ship the next day and the last time even told me to call you for the tracking number. In fact one of your friends even stated in this thread that you told him you had the snakes and needed to only get a few more from Ben Seigel. You kept telling me you needed to sex them and for that you needed the tools which you were going to have to repurchase. Imagine my dismay when I called you and both lines were disconnected.
Sadly Buddy I was serious about possibly purchasing some bearded dragons from after we had this business taken care of. I have found something else to purchase from someone else after the way you changed your tune and started trying to slam my name. The worst part is Sal that you do effect other people's business on here. Being your were my first online transaction I almost gave up buying things online and the money I spent on you I would have definately spent on someone else on here because I did want some ball pythons. I now will not buy from someone without a good reputation and will even pay a little more for the reputation. Unfortunately people trying to get their foot in the door are most effected becuase they have not had the exposure to build a reputation. I do thank you for teaching me this lesson for relatively cheap not a couple thousand dollars. I am too trusting I have learned that and too forgiving although we are at about the point of irrepairable damage. All you had to do Sal if you couldn't send them at that time was tell me so. That's all I needed was open communication. When you failed to get ahold of me I posted on the BOI then it did not take long for you to get a hold of me. So please just tell eveyone you had no intention of replacing the snakes or paying back the money.
I know you hope that I would just fade away but buddy I can't do that now. See I take your lying about me personally and in the end if I save someone the headache and money of not doing business with you when they post an inquiry I guess it was money well spent. You can go ahead and say because I posted this now you will not return anything I expect that Sal but just admit you were never going to anyway. You were never going to get a hold of me when you moved to Florida and I am sure it pisses you off that I found fauna classifieds. Well thank you for introducing me to the fauna and I am sure the people I do business with on here thank you for sending me their way. If you do decide to change how you do business and your reputation I wish you luck. I will be keeping eye out.

I'm sure that for every person Sal has stole from that knows about the BOI there are several more out there who haven't found it yet.
He could promise you the world and it would mean absolutely nothing because the man has no pride, ethics or conscience.
Unless Sal is willing to send you a refund I would just write this one off as a learning experience. I definitely wouldn't accept any more animals from this guy because everything he sells wastes away and dies.
Every once in a while, the reptile hobby needs an enema to flush the Sal's of the world out...but don't give up on it, there are still plenty of good people out there for every Sal.
 
I also would have to agree with Chris. I would not even bother waiting to get replacement animals from sal. He never had/has any intention of sending you anything to begin with. As Chris stated, if he actually did send you something you can rest assured that they will be the typical garbage that sal sells...loaded with parasites, non feeding and on deaths door!

This guy is nothing but a lying, cheating, crooked scam artist! It has been said many times over and will continue to be.

Chalk it up as a loss and learning experience and make sure you post your experience with sal in every thread or inquiry on the BOI, maybe one day when people see his name they will know to run the other way.
