hacking into a site

I just noticed one thing, and again this is supposition...

I used to design websites for fun, and a wee bit of money. The domain name registration thing has been beaten to death, Alison shouldn't be holding it hostage.

I wanted to comment on the "Tried to hack into all my sites"

One of the emails from Ken stated that the "password didn't work" and what alison posted showed that someone had repeatedly tried to access an account enough so that the security systems suspended usage.

To me this sounds like someone who doesn't know enough about what they are doing and/or haven't been given proper instructions on how to access their site. Sounds like they went to the wrong login page, tried to access THEIR site, and after a bunch of attempts couldn't do it... why couldn't they? Because they were at the wrong login page... I don't see any proof that they were attempting to HACK upstate's sites. I only see that there was a misunderstanding.

Just thought I would say this, as to accuse a person of "trying to hack into all my sites" is a very very serious accusation.

I have to say, in my opinion, that this is beginning to look like a domino affect.
First there was Corey Kingsbury, who out right admitted to lying, which I guess is a start in the right direction for him, if you want to look possitively on it.
Then you have Steve Smith, well in that case it was kind of like a divorce, neither party was completely happy, but in the end it was resolved.
Now comes Ken, I don't know folks, but to me it is looking like Alison has wised up some and is just in the beginning stages of showing documentation. Ken on the other hand has shown none, and had someone post for him at the beginning.
This is what this really is about, not what mistakes Alison has made in the past, but about her possibly being ripped off, and in all instances it has been a fair chunk of change.
I now understand about the domain thing, Alison should give the name back, he would then owe Moonlit for the website that she worked on, and it would show she is doing right by at least the law, and make her case stronger here if Ken does not pay up.
The Ken statement about him paying for the lawyer, is just crazy and reaching, it sounds childish, petty and vindictive, so I am very curious to know where exactly he was trying to "hack" into.
On the animals, someone is not listening, Alison said she was sending the animals to him sick or not, as per his request. She thinking it was a "partnership had housed, fed and medicated these animals from her own pocket, not a small task or cheap.
And if the first set of animals she sent were indeed from her own personal stock, then isnt CB worth more on the market then WC? From what I gather I think they are, but since I have never personally dabbled in WC I do not know for sure.
These are just my thoughts, nothing more nothing less.

Well one could accept the idea of Alison having spent so much money on dead and dying snakes that got that way simply because they were WC IF:

A) You could believe anything that came out of her mouth

or

B) Upstate Exotics did not already have a reputation for passing on dead or dying snakes from their own personal collection, due to their substandard husbandry practices (Does an adult yellow rat snake, that died in a week after receipt, ring a bell for anyone?).

Is it possible that Alison is tellign the truth? Sure. Is it also possible that Alison has killed the snakes she cherry picked and refused to send to Ken who rightfully owned them? It sure is!

The sad problem for Alison is that no one is going to believe her, even if she is right this time. That lying thing sure catches up to you, doesn't it, Alison???

Well then I guess I am going to go against all others, and as long as Alison keeps posting proof as she has started doing, then I will believe her.
Thus far I have not seen anything from Ken except for bragging about money by saying he will pay for a lawyer for everyone. That does not cut it in my book.
Although I still have not bought anything from Alison, I do realize, people makes mistakes, and I am at least willing to hear her out, if that is against the general consensus here, so be it.

Darin as a minister I would think the first thing you would think of is a time of forgivness. But then again that is what man has up against him when trying to be Christ like as a true Christian should be. And since you were never wronged makes the attacks even more uncharacteristic. WWJD

Now I admit it will be hard to believe but maybe instead of the neg give the parties a chance and then make a determination.

So far Alison has given more documentation to prove her point and all we have are words from Ken. So instead of everyone jumping down her throat wait until the facts are in then choose.

As far as the domain name I only have one point. As Dennis provided the quotes of the law point one is

(1) The collection of any amount (including any interest, fee, charge, or expense incidental to the principal obligation) unless such amount is expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or permitted by law.

Note it can be part of the original agreement and if the domain name is part of the package by contract it is hers until the entire contract is fullfilled. Now again I dont know her contract and I frankly feel the domain should be released. But trying to be a devils advocate here.

As "dwedeking" pointed out this may not be the right way to do web design but it may not be illegal. Just because its not the way you would do it doesnt make her wrong until the facts are in.

What Ken was trying to log into (which I already explained to him, the girl in his office, and AJ herself) was my Moonlit Media Reseller account. They were using MY username on MY namecheap.com reseller account.

Ken and AJ knew quite well what they were doing. They even LOGGED ONTO their account and DELETED very single page, picture and directory, however I still have hardcopies of them on my machine. SO this whole..."we didn't know what we were doing" or "we couldn't get it" is crap.

He didn't even try using HIS logon, he used my username and tried diffrerent combinations to try and firgure out my password to get into my account. Only then, he didn't not realize that they safeguard and shut this system down after numerous failed attempts with a wrong password.

Ken is a very smart man.....or claims to be....now all of a sudden he's doing a great job of acting quite incapable. He knew how to access his account, he had all the same logon info from day one.

He purposely went and tried to gain control, but got shut down. He claims to never have the password, etc. etc...here's the originals of how many times alone I emailed it to him:

Maybe I've mised it, but what proof has she posted?

I mean, I know she said that she kept back some of the animals Ken bought so that she could nurse them back to health, but how do we know that is true? How do we know she didn't just keep back the ones she liked, simply TOLD ken they were dying, with the intention of selling them herself? After all, Ken could not identify snakes he'd never seen before, could he?

Unfortunately, Alison has offered no proof that those snakes came in to her sick in any way. Given her penchant for lying every time she speaks, I just cannot believe anything she says without absolute proof.

Lately I have been finding A LOT of complaints about Upstate.
These people come to the BOI to complain about Upstate.
It is obvious these people know where the BOI is.

Now I am thinking that one of the following has to be true.

1. These people JUST FOUND OUT where the boi is. (Unfortunately for them)

2. These people knew where the boi was but were to LAZY to do research on Upstate.

OR

3. These people are SCAMMERS who bought from Upstate with the intentions of scamming Upstate and coming over here in hopes that we cover their back.





There was Dallas Quarless who kept saying he had pictures of the dying boas he got from Upstate. He kept saying he will post them. He posted them allright. He posted them for sale. But first he came here to complain about Upstate. I am still waiting for his proof from 2002...it is now 2003

There was the gracie aka Diana Mason. Complained about her Monitor she got from Upstate and how Horrible and emaciated it was. WE ALL backed her up. Two days later she was selling it as flawless because she fed it two magic mice.

So I am noticing a trend. Read about Upstate and about how "bad" they are. Complain about Upstate. Then sell the "flawless" animals you get from them.

Or better yet. Do like elite aka Ken did. Get some animals. Do not pay for it. Complain about it. Then sell it

Why did he flat out lie? It is obvious that they were in contact on the third. But on the fourth they loose all contact? And just as coincidence Moonlit meds account gets numerous attempts at being accessed.

Check out the links to his Kingsnake ads...he's selling these animals...and they look OK to me. So Darrin, take a step back...and look at the fact that Ken has posted nothing of proof...same like my other threads where people tried to take us. PLUS all the animals he did receive were treated with mediacation WE had to pay for, they were fed for over a month with mice/rats WE had to buy...plus does anyone have any idea what a pain (and how time consuming) it is to feed and care for all those animals for a month!?!?! PLUS don't forget we had to pay shipping out of our own pocket on ALL THIS! And Ken still has our own personal animals he is trying to sell. He said he has a bank statement showing he paid us for those animals (lies lies lies) but still has not posted a single shred of any of it....reason: he has none.

Ritchie, you're absolutely right. But in the story of the boy who cried "Wolf!" too often, he gotten by a real wolf in the end. Why? Because no one believed the little liar when he was actually telling the truth.

Alison is KNOWN, PROVEN liar. Sal and Alison have ripped people off in a variety of ways, and there is no doubt about that. So, although I am sure that scammers can be scammed, and that may be what is going on here, Alison just cannot be believed. Not without actual, certifiable proof anyway.

Thank you Ritchie, felt I was drowning here. You put much more out than I even remembered.
when you weed out everything, yes upstate made some mistakes, some big. But all in all they haven't been that many or as large as a sum they are taking a beating for.
Darin, you are not looking at everything, just what you want to, what can I say?

Well it looks like he did in fact screw over upstate, I guess its one of those "what comes around goes around things", or something more along the lines of "no one will beleive them" as i stated earlier.... but it definately does not make it right.

I personally had a chat with an individual with key knowledge of this particular incident and a few others involved with upstate. And I do believe what I heard. I personally will buy from everyone atleast once, I give everyone a shot. But I will never condone outright lies. And there WERE outright lies.

I'm not saying I will purchase from upstate, I probably would not unless it was on some type of credit scenario protecting us, but I'll keep an open mind in the future and see what unfolds in these threads reguarding them.

BOI has run it's course

I think it's time for all those that have "partnered" with Upstate and Upstate themselves to get lawyers (as much as I hate to say it, because I hate lawyers) and take it to court. There is too much money involved and I doubt anyone in these dealings has a written contract for it.

There is enough written on these and other threads for those to make up their mind about the parties involved. Personally I work extremely too hard for every dollar and wouldn't risk $.01 on Upstate or anyone affiliated with them in any way (something to think about when you "partner" with someone without researching them [that goes both ways])

It is not true that I am not looking at everything here. I have not said that Ken is a good guy to be trusted in everything he says. He obviously has lied about being in contact with Alison in that one email. It's just that this does not mean that Alison IS telling the truth about the snakes, and I refuse to believe anything she says, because she has continually lied since I've seen her post her on the BOI. But Ken is not high my list by any means.

I don't think you are the original incarnation of evil. I'm sure you are a likeable person in regular life. However, you're a liar, and there's just no around that for you. At least not right now.

For all I know, Ken is 100% wrong and you are 100% right about this deal. Ritchie and Rozann maybe right that people are just trying to scam you, because you have already been relegated to the positionof eternal scammer in the minds of so many. But that's the price you pay for doing what you have been proven to have done. You've lied and cheated. I don't dislike you. I just refuse to trust you.

So, unless you have real proof, I will not believe you. That will continue on my part until you have shown over an extended period of time that you are no longer lying about everything you do. Reputations are precious commodities, and you have destroyed yours. Not the others who have accused you, mind you . . .YOU have destroyed it with your lies. Now YOU will have to rebuild it one truth at a time.
