Upststate Exotics Please contact me. I have sent you numerous emails and left many phone messages. All I want is a $180.00 dollar credit back to my Visa card. I original purchase with you was a 100% Het yellow Ghost with papers. I did not commit to the purchase until you said you had all proper paper work verifying genetics. Once this was verified I made my down payment of $100.00 on 03/28/03. My second payment of $80.00
was on 04/01/03. I attempted to make my third payment of $50.00 on 04/06/03. You emailed me on 04/06/03 notifying me you had lost paper work. You offered a refund or $50.00 dollars off. I allowed you time to verify genetics. Thirteen days later with poor response by you and no resolution I asked for a refund. I talked to Sal by phone on 04/22/03 and he said he would process a full refund. He mentioned to me that I was right without proper papers its just a regular Ball Python. On 04/06/03 you emailed papers were lost. I emailed 04/08/03 to try to find out progress of the verification of genetics. No email reply. I called by phone. I talked to Sal he said you were working on it. I emailed on 04/09/03 no reply. I emailed on 04/12/03 no reply. I made several phone calls and left messages leaving my number no reply. On 04/19/03 emailed. You finally answered saying your still working on it. On 04/19/03 I emailed letting you know I want a refund. I emailed 04/20/03 no reply. I emailed 04/21/03 no reply. I emailed 04/22/03 no reply. I called and talked to Sal by phone he said he would give full refund. I emailed 04/25/03 no reply. I emailed on 04/26/03 no reply. I emailed on 04/28/03 no reply. I faxed a letter to Upstate Exotics 1-866-738-7499 no reply. If you call and get an answering machine on this phone it gives you an option for faxing. I emailed on 04/29/03 no reply. I am just summarizing facts. I am going to produce in all emails to this company in order. Sal & Alison of Upstate Exotics please contact me. I have made every attempt to contact you. You stated in your email on 04/06/03 papers were lost and that I am intitled to a refund. Thirteen days later when you could not produce proof of papers verifing genetics I then elected to get a refund. This time period gave you sufficient time. I just would like the refund I am entitled to. Please refund $180.00 dollars back to my credit card account. This would be greatly appreciated. If you did not have the $180.00 in one shot to refund and you wanted to do it in two credits I would understand. But you have not communicate with me at all. . Upstate Exotics please email me. All I want is my $180.00 dollar credit to my Visa debit card. My agreement was with 100% Het Yellow Ghost with papers. I committed to the purchase after you verified you had the paper work. This is very misleading. Please I have tried several means of contact to resolve this. You notified me on 04/06/03 papers were lost. You stated I was entitled to a refund. I gave you time to verify genetics. After thirteen days of avoidance I and you for the full refund I am entitled to. This transaction is between my self and Alison & Sal Tornambene. Not Corey Estill.

If any one can email me any information that might help me I would appreciate it. My email is [email protected]. If there are any more people who have had dealings with this company I urge you not to keep silent. Any one who reads this thank you so much for your time.

Call your credit card company, and dispute the charge.

Or at least email them at all addresses once more, and tell them you're going to. If they don't respond, then call your credit card company. Don't wait too long, or you will be unable to dispute the charge!!

Really sorry to hear about this. You should of done an inquiry and you would of quickly found out that Upsate exotics are NOT people to buy from at ALL.....Period!

I hope you really do get your money back. And I hope upstate exotics refund you your money.

I see their ads all the time and by pass them straight away and this is another reason to keep bypassing their ads!

They have been ignoring you...Pure and simple.

I have seen adds being posted by them.
So the excuse of computer breaking down is no excuse.

Also they had use of their e-mail (AT LEAST maybe more) on the following dates

4/24/03

So if they did not answer you.....it is because they are ignoring you.
 
Add me to the list of people who refuse to do business with Upstate Exotics. As Ritchie can attest I'm in the market for Albino Boa Hets. Upstate has them on KS right now, but I didn't even open their ad. So to anyone that thinks bad feedback on the BOI doesn't effect their business think again.

I Hope you're able to get your refund. I know that in the past Upstate has participated on the Forum perhaps they'll see this thread and do the right thing.

Have you contacted kingsnake.com and let them know about this situation? Just remember what happened with the ReptilePit (Las Vegas) just a few weeks ago. You probably need to bring out in the open.

They (upstate exotics) were on the BOI page for at least half an hour or more and I find it hard to believe they didn't notice this thread which has been at the top!

Yet they had nothing to say, maybe they are rushing back to refund Tony his money!

I won't hold my breath!

I think everyone who has read your opening post needs to give you a big 2 thumbs up on your patience, professionalism (and restraint!) I'd be right about at the "Rant Mode" level if in your position. Apparently Upstate hasn't (or won't) tell their side, and that pretty much will say it all for the kind of "business" they are. Man, good luck to you; really hope you get your money back.

I have no option at this point but to put in a claim with Visa and dispute charges of $180.00 dollars taken from my account. This was done on 04/30/03 at 4:30 PM. Due to circumstances beyond my control my visa card has been canceled. Thank you.

If you cannot do the right thing for someone who has been as patient, as courteous, and as PROFESSIONAL throughout all of this as has been Anthony Pappalardo, then you are one of the worst of the truly bad guys! For whom would you do the right thing, if not for Anthony???

I would no more do business with Upstate Exotics than I would Jesse James Underhill, at this point. ANYONE who would do business with Upstate Exotics after all of this ought to just send their money to a charity instead. You still won't have any animals to show for your efforts, but you'll definitely feel better about the transaction the next morning!

It's amazing, or is just how they do business? But upstart exotics have frequented the BOI page since this thread has been viewable (blind Freddy couldn't miss it, so I am sure they didn't either) it's been at the top for the most part and yet upstart exotics don't seem to have the guts to address the issue.

Tony has to be given one hell of a pat on the back for the way he has addressed the situation. His emails have been more then nice, professional and he has given upstart exotics more then enough time to address the problem and refund the money they owe Tony.

Upstart exotics IHMO are as unprofessional as you could get. They take his money, lose the paper work, for with out it the animal is utterly useless and don't have the guts to address a simple refund problem, but will read this thread and then run and hide.

I wasn't going to reply here as Tony's credit has been issued.

We had received an email from Tony explaining us to ignore all of his duplicate emails as there is a problem with his email. So what have we done.....

Here is the email:
"Hi Sal & Alison,
how are you? Please excuse any duplicate emails I may have sent to you. My account malfunctioned and repeated the sending process. Again I do apologize for this inconvenience. Thanks for your time and have a great evening."

We contacted Tony to verify his information via telephone as we DO NOT keep records here of credit card numbers and I would not expect someone to list their credit card information via email.

As far as replacing the paperwork, I have made numerous telephone calls to Corey Estill, as this is where the snake is from, and have been unsuccessful in reaching him. I did offer a refund to Tony if he chose not to wait for Corey to get back with us, and his refund was given.

I explained to Tony that if there is a problem to CALL ME, and he refuses to do so. But instead he chose to post here, which is not a telephone call.
 
He chose to not call you because you were ignoring his emails and, as he stated in one of them had you bothered to read it, he was not comfortable speaking with you on the phone any longer. Why exactly? I have no idea, but you are a pretty poor excuse of a business man if you are going to let THAT slow your efforts to refund the man his money!

This is not Corey Estill's fault. It is certainly not Anthony's fault! The reason your company is being seen time and again for being the completely unprofessional organization it is, is due to your total lack of customer service! You have no one but yourself to blame for this, Sal.
 
Ok, so you were getting his emails, but there is something different between DUPLICATE and MULTIPLE emails. He has sent you MULTIPLE different emails. His email provider DUPLICATED some of his emails, to where you recieved more than one copy. If all the emails were the same, it would be one thing to ignore them, yet they all have different wording. To me it seems that he's been very patient in getting in touch with you, and for however long he's been sending you emails, you couldn't simply email him back with the option to credit him his money back, or for him to wait on the papers? Had you done this, I'm sure he would have been quite willing to call you with his credit card info.

Just my viewing of this at least.
