Balls Deep Reptiles
I am hoping that someone can help me with 2 of my snakes?
The first is a male Angolan python that I got from a guy who said it had just beat a URI. I noticed right away that he hadn't. This issue has been going on for about 6 months now. I have spent a bunch of money at the vet using 2 different injection medications and raising the cage temps and lowering the humidity. No results from the vet. I decided to treat him myself with Tylan which was recommended bye a few people but still no change.
The second is a proven breeder pastel het ghost that I bought about 6 weeks ago. I noticed last week that he was gurgling and sounded very congested. I pulled him from my rack and started a round of Tylan injections and raised cage temps. He is not showing any improvement. I have been told that the Tylan should knock the infection right out of them but I don't see it!
Can anyone recommend something that really works? I need these guys to breed for me this upcoming season.
Also I see people selling baby balls that have shed and eaten right away, mine are not doing that! I have albino and het babies born 7-28-10 that show no interest in food. I have tried all the paper bag tricks, mice, asf's,rat pinks and even assist feeding but they are fighting me all the way. I have force fed them each once but I don't like the stress that it puts on them. Any help would be appreciated!
