I have returned from the Daytona Show with pictures of Uros that were hidden among the many ball pythons. Here are some pictures I took as I wandered around checking out these awesome animals.

Thank you, out of all the young Uros I was looking at to buy, this one was the best. Has all the coloration and markings of a beautiful adult.

That uro is aswome. I didnt make it to the Reptile sow in Oklahoma this past weekend, but it would have been pretty small anyway. Seeing all those picture make me want another uro, but I need to get another set up first.

I am sooo Jealous I am gonna make it to that show some year, Your little one is very cute congrads on your great find!!

I picked this one up from Regal Reptiles. It is hard to not open the cage and take this one out to hold, I keep telling myself to give it time to adjust to it's new surroundings and make sure it is eating well. So far it really enjoys those flowers and does not have much interest in anything else, but I enjoy trying to find food to discover what it's favorite is to eat.

The first time I saw one of these lil guys about 6 months ago I was in love. I have been considering buying one since then. (homework ya know) I am not an experienced reptile person even though I have several, well 5, they are just my pets. I am almost afraid to talk here because most of you seem to know everything about them where I just learn as I go. Any how nice pictures and congrats on your new friend

No Need to be scared to talk here, Its good you are doing research shows you care about your animals and want to be informed. I respect that and I am sure everyone else does as well. Feel free to ask any questions!!

Your new Uro is AWESOME!!!! Made going to Daytona worth it, huh???

Please share any pictures or thoughts. We all started out knowing nothing, Uros are still new to me and I still find questions to ask, reptiles are just awesome!

Oh yeah, it was great, that little one sure did cost me a lot just to get it.

Victoria, you are among friends here! If you can't ask questions here, then where? We are all learning everyday!!! I have had Uros for just over three years now, and I am sure no "Expert". I am glad, however, to share what knowledge I do have. For heavens sake, don't hesitate to ask anything! Nice pics Junkyard. I have the Raliegh Nc show next weekend. Lindsay Pike (Urotopia.com) is supposed to be there. We will see. He has said he was going to be there for years and hasn't showed up in nearly 2 1/2.

Michael, I could swear I seen that pretty little female somewhere before. She is a looker for sure!! :)

Congrats on your new uro, he's a cutie for sure!

I didn't go to Daytona but a friend of the family did and picked up my new baby egyptian. I posted his pic in the photo contest thread. He's about 6 inches long and doing great so far. He doesn't eat much but he is eating daily. I haven't tried to handle him yet since he freaks out everytime I put my hand in his tank to get him fresh food. He's going to be a fiesty one!

Thank you, it has been great to have around, good personality and beautiful. Lindsey was at Daytona, on my first set of pics from the show, pictures # 3,5,6,7,8,and 9 were all from his table!

Oh, so that beautiful one is from Daytona too? I was getting worried that mine was not eating much also, so last night I gave it a new tray of veggies and fresh bird seed. This morning it was sleeping up in the corner fat as ever and a mess of food all over the place, seems it finally got it's appetite back. :eatpointe
