    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi Everyone! I'm very new to the site so please let me know if this type of question should be directed somewhere else.

I have previously owned Bearded Dragons, and Iguana, a Chinese Water Dragon, a Crested Gecko and Salamanders. This was back in highschool when I could make huge terrariums with my parents and house my buddies at their place. I have since lived in apartments so I have only been able to have one nice set up. I will be moving into a house next month and am really interested in getting a Uromastyx.

I feel like I'm reasonably experienced with reptiles, but all the ones I have had were reasonably basic in terms of care. I'm seeing that Uro's aren't as popular as some reptiles so getting really in depth information has been tricky. I have also noticed that some species of Uro's are more advanced. I have done a lot of research into the upkeep and requirements for Uro's, but still do not know which species would fit someone like me best and am looking for some help in that regard. I don't have a size preference and would love some color variation, but am not picky and would just really like to make sure I get a species that can do well for me.

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

-Kristina
