In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Here is a couple videos that explain what is being targeted. I have at least a dozen of these types of knifes as I'm sure many of you have one somewhere around the house. One in the tackle box, in the kitchen, garage and various other places. Heck, I have a little paring knife that opens this way.

The PDF from BUREAU OF CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION

What a load of crap, I have at least 10 different versions of this type of knife. This is getting completely out of hand.

Gawd I love it when they make up their own definitions.
Then they debate the meaning of the word 'or' !?! I want my tax money back.

You know this is just another lead up for the complete disarmament of America. Our freedoms are being slowly being leeched away.

This is just another stupid law that does nothing to affect actual criminals.

I'm more likely to beat some one with my baseball bat then pull out my knife. Let's outlaw bats & sticks to while we're at it.

The idiot who said assist open knives have no utilitarian use obviously never had to cut a racoon kit out of plastic six pack ring holder, or had to get a turtle off their kid's fishing line, or had a stupid kitten get tangled in the line when it doesn't get put up  I am not giving up one of my most used tools.

If the American public has the balls, mass disobedience is the only answer to send a very graphic message to government that they really need to get off of our backs before we just turn on them and tar and feather the whole lot of them and send them packing. Which is exactly what they are afraid of and exactly WHY they are trying to disarm us before it reaches the boiling over point. They are apparently aware of the fact that pushing this disarmament thing will be exactly the trigger they will cause the boiling over to take place. Which is why they are taking this slow and in barely perceptible steps to accomplish that ultimate goal.

They can go as slow as they like. I am not giving up anything, not my knives, my snakes, my dogs, my freedom from religion or my right to speak out. The only thing they might succeed in making me give up is my No guns in my House policy.

I'm seriously considering purchasing some guns and the accompanying ammo, just so that I'll have them before they're banned.

(I'll warn ya'all before I go to target practice ) :shootfoot

WTH!
I have one in my tackle box. It's nice to be able to open it with one hand by using my thumb.
No way am I giving it up.

Me too. It is one of the most convenient tools I have. Definitely easier than swatting mosquitoes with both hands.

Well, this could quite likely become an anti-gunners wetdream, I suppose. Propose legislation whereby guns and knives would be illegal unless it takes THREE hands to operate them............

wow, this is disgusting. I carry a knife like this everywhere I go, don't leave the house without it. I have another dozen or so around the house.

I just got back from two weeks in the woods.... I should have stayed. Things made sense there.
