These are clean, parasite-free, healthy, fat little babies hatched in my home, from an intentional breeding effort. These are not eggs that were dropped from a fresh import. I have had Ursa (the dam) in my care since 2020. The sire is unknown as she has been paired with many different males while I worked out how to get my breeding program off the ground. These will be beautiful adults, free of scarring or stress. Color will deepen with age and be a nice beautiful orange against dark black saddles.
Feeding on live, larger-sized pinky mice.
Sexing - they both palpate as female, and they have very delicate spurs. I cannot guarantee with 100% accuracy that these are female. It is notably more difficult to guarantee accurate sexing with baby Saharans than other sand boa species.
