    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay, so, I've noticed the past few weeks, that if I go to my own profile, where the "current activity" is, it's always saying I am viewing something that I am not. Like, currently, it says I am viewing an ad for an adult female black and white tegu and I certainly am not.

Weird glitch or should I be concerned my account is being accessed from elsewhere?
 
Happens to me as well. There is sometimes a small delay between the time that it updates and the time you see the status, and I've noticed that what the system says I'm looking at is actually a picture on an ad that is showing in the Introduction page when I first get onto the site.

It is hard with as much traffic as this site gets to have it update instantly. I can not imagine counting the BOTS also how many hits this page gets an hour.
 
There are admin options in vBulletin to make such updates instantaneous, but that would be quite an intensive activity for the server, and throughput for the entire site might suffer accordingly. I believe it updates every hour, instead.
 
No worries on that, Rich. I'm not that concerned about it anymore now that I know it's just a refresh and front page thing.
