As far as I know, ESU is currently the only mfg. that makes a "UV" bulb in the compact flourescent bulb (Pin socket, external ballast).
I haven't seen any independent studies of the Desert 7% UVB compact flourescent bulbs, but I know their 7% UVB standard flourescent didn't do so hot in independent studies.
Anyone out there with a meter get a chance to test these bulbs?
I find it surprizing that they are still the only major manufacturer to step into the realm of high output power compacts.
