I have several pairs of Australian Parakeets that I am rehoming from Round Lake Beach, IL.
1 Pair of Mulga (1 year old) -- $450
1 Male/2 Female Scarlet Chested (1 to 3 years old) -- $450
1 Pair of Turqoisine (2.5 years old) -- $400
1 Pair of Red Rump Parakeets (unknown age, probably >3 years. Sitting on eggs) - $100
3 Pairs of Bourkes (1 pair is proven) -- $100/pair
If you're interested in the whole flock, I would entertain offers.
If you know what these breeds are, then you know that they are hardy and pretty, but not the greatest "pet" birds. The bourkes are actually quite tame (although not hand tame), and the Scarlet's are comics. The Mulgas are high strung (true to species), as are the Turqs (although this pair has mellowed out over time with me).
I will not ship, but I will drive a reasonable distance in the IL/WI/IN/MI area.
