Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello, I am new to this site and came upon it while lookingbfor information on Varnyard and Bobby Hill. I ordered a Black and White Arg tegu for my son's birthday and we were dur to receive it back in July. We put a deposit of 50% as is required I think in April and we contactwd him in August when we hadn't heard anything. He told me due to the severe heat, he was unable to ship and we understood that as we had 100 degree temps here. Over the summer. We paid the balance as he requested and he said as soon as heat broke he would get the tegu out. Prior to doing business with him I did my research and he had excellent reviews and we were very excited for my son to get his pet who he aleeady named Spyro. After that conversatiin I had contacted him. a nonth later where he said he was doing his best to get them out he had 700 to deliver and he wasnt as friendku and again I tried to be understanding. Now it is the end of Oct and he isnt returning emails and everutime I call it says memory is full and asks for access code. I started looking online and I seee the BBB has an alert on his business for delivery jssues and I see some posts onbhere that some people have had the same issue, some resolved others not. Does anyone have a better way of gettingin touch with him or reccomend whay I can do without getting him in trouble. My son just wants his tegu and I notice his site now says accepting depisit for 2013. The tegu was only $150 but my son spent so much money on the habaitat and he has Aspberger's. He is 18 and koves reptiles. I just reallu need. To get hin this tegu. Thank you in advance for any help.
 
It'd appear that his recent spurt of shipments, of questionable origin, was little more than a diversionary tactic to quiet some of his more vocal victims. Continue with your calling and emailing. Don't just quietly accept being ripped off. If you paid via PayPal, file a complaint with them. It's not likely to yield any direct results, but you'll be yet another victim's voice in the multitude that have already complained. It seems to have been enough to remove that particular payment option from his bag of tricks. Also, file your own BBB complaint.

He richly deserves any trouble that manages to find him. Don't try to rationalize his actions by buying into his excuses, or seeing him as anything other than fully responsible for this situation. He's not a poor victim of circumstance. He had no qualms about taking your money for a product he's chosen not to deliver, so you should have no qualms about doing whatever you have to, to get some semblance of satisfaction. Whether that be a refund, delivery of what you paid for, or simply knowing that you've played some small part in helping potential future victims avoid what you're going through.
 
just stick to the thread already established for people stolen from by bobby i still call all the time with no answer and i only know of less than a handful of people who got anything at all, mostly AA's and Extremes. he took yours mine and many others money and just disappeared after 3 or 4 years of good reviews. the moneys gone and theres almost no chance youll see or hear anything

I couldnt find the threads that I saw when I originally did my google search. However, I did notice that his site now says accepting deposits for 2013. I guess I will contact paypal. Hopefully we can get the tegu as having to explain to an autistic child why they do not have something that was paid for and told they were going to get, even if an adult is not an easy task. We live in a very black and white world in my house so this is really going to suck. He spent all summer helping have a custom habitat built. This is a nightmare. Thank you for your responses. I will follow up so like you said no one else has to go through this. God only knows who has made depksits for 2013. :'( Thank you again.
 
Paypal did not help me. because its over 45 days they close the case before the page refreshes after hitting submit dispute. then ask for you to do a survey about the dispute process
 
im really sorry. i know how it feels im living it too, i spent all summer getting stuff and now ill have too wait till my tax refund and by then ill have to wait til next julys offspring.
 
So we r out the tegu and the money and the money he out out for the habitat. This is disgusting that he has done this to people. I will try BBB but it said he never responded to the other reports but hopefully iit will help someone else and pay it forward. If anyone knows of anyone who is reputabke that I may ne able to get my son a blk and white tegu hand tame please message me. Thank you. I really feell like I am going to be sick. I dont want to break my sons heart.
 
Sorry you went through this too. It seems insane that he would do this. With the amiint of peoplebyou would think it would be grand larceny.
