including the partial refund, that were privately sent between Bobby and Simon only one day after Simon posted this thread .. nearly one year after the money was transferred to Bobby and the transaction had been started. She posted emails on his behalf that Bobby himself should have/could have posted himself. The
fact is, he did not post until Tere was questioned why she was posting in the first place. Being aquainted with the facts of human nature, I (and the others you called out) couldn't help but wonder why Tere was posting those emails instead of Bobby.

Uh, yeah. It could be personal and that is exactly WHY there is speculation (NOT claims) and yeah, something we don't know. It
could be personal which is why Tere was posting on his behalf and why he attempted to deflect blame onto his exporter, who he claimed he paid for 5 other orders besides the OP's. But was too busy to follow up on? Below is Bobby's gracious refund email to Simon.
"There I gave you your request, now just go away and do not ever contact me about a tegu again. I still have not heard a word from my exporter, I paid him for five orders besides yours.

I betcha if it was his own money out of his own pocket he'd know

Really? So would Mr. Murphy. Apparently Bobby does not wish to provide a little more, in explanation or refund, to his customer.
That fact seemed rather evident after the 4 posts Bobby made (on page 5) and the puny little partial refund Bobby made only one day after Mr. Murphy came here and posted.
Frankly, whatever Bobby wishes to divulge here or through any mouthpiece or friend is not important. What
IS important is that the customer ordered and paid for a tegu. Bobby did not maintain communication nor provide the tegu or a refund of money the customer paid up front after one year. It's simple. Chickens were counted before they were hatched and the clutch fell waay short ... money was taken in good faith and the goods were not delivered in a timely manner. A refund with a detailed accounting of what was actually spent by Bobby is in order. THAT'S the way professional business people conduct themselves. Somehow I think you certainly would not want it any other way if YOU were the dude that had spent the cash upfront.
