    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Vermiculite and Humidity??

lol nevermind you must have posted the temp as I was typing, I would say just to leave em alone for a day or so and then check on em and they should start to plump back up a bit

Those are nothing to worry about. I got those on both my clutcheS this year and I used straight water so my humidity was 99% 24/7. I believe those are just weak spots in the shell formation, when your eggs dent you will know it.

Yeah Bob they are in a little plastic shoe box size tub with a lid. I only opened it to put the wet paper towels in, other than that I can see though it to see the eggs. And yes the verm. is plenty soaked..

You can candle the eggs to see if you still have veins, but those dents should be just fine. Should plump back out in a day or two as long as your humidity stays up. :thumbsup:

Best of luck and keep us posted!

Yeah I'm sure I'll keep everyone posted with my worries lol. Sorry about that, just really don't want to mess these up. So thank you all so much, karma to you all! :)

LOL. This was my first year breeding. I have a vet friend who I purchase snakes from. I was bothering him with every little thing and every time my paranoia struck about the slightest little blemish or issue he was getting an e mail or phone call. Nothing wrong with being overly cautions. You'll be fine.

Have you candled them at all? Only way to know for sure if they are fertile is by candling. You can get a small LED flashlight for fairly cheap at Walmart/Target to use for candling.

My first clutch collapsed a bit the first week and I got worried. humidity was 99% and heat was 89.6. All when candled were fine and went full term for a 100% success rate. As Pamela said candle them and as long as your humidity and temps are ok try not to worry. I know ( this is your first clutch you have ever incubated I am assuming ) sometimes it's hard not to worry, and being overly cautious is a good thing at times, but i'm willing to bet everything is fine.
