    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a Ball Python that is approx 5yrs old and has always been healthy and happy. He is very docile and mellow. Here is the concern. Over the past 7 days I have seen him convulse twice. He is awake, and his entire body just flops and spasms around. He also seems to have a heightened sense to the touch while this is going on. It lasted about 5 mins. Once before a feeding (Friday) and the second time was after a feeding, yesterday (Tuesday). There has been no changes in his food, home, or handling. He has not been given any meds and has always been in great health. I am very concerned and am open to any info you guys have to offer.

The first couple of questions that come into my mind are:

1. Have you brought any new reptiles into your home in the past few weeks?

2. Have you used any kind of chemical in the room or enclosure (cleaning, air freshener, etc) that your BP may have come into contact with?
 
3. There are situations when it is best to just take them to the vet. This is one of those situations in my opinion.

No new pets, chemicals, or anything unusual. I agree... the vet will see him tomorrow. They are going to start with blood work. Fingers crossed it's not serious!
