Our female Veiled gave us 34 eggs on the 10th.
But when we candle them, they are yellow inside but with a firm white shell. From what we have read, the eggs can go through diapause for any number of months. (Diapause being when the egg is yellow when candled but then becomes viable after "resting".) Some have said they can be like this for up to a year after they were laid. We are going to wait until they mold over until we discard them just in case.
Does such a thing as 'diapause' exist? How soon after receiving the eggs should it take to see the red/pink lines inside when candled? Any advice would be wonderful!
