If you know so much you'd have known all zoo transactions require a special animal transaction form from the curator and signed by the CEO, vets don't order animals and I DO work for the head vet. So please by all means prove these complete false allegations against me! and what zoo pays with paypal under MY name??? I don't think I"ve ever met someone so full of crap in my life. I wouldn't buy your wormy parasite infested animals if you were paying people to take them!

you said the tortoise was infested with worms your a lier! just like you lied to us to get the tortoise. why did you stress memphis zoo when ordering from us? we dont want to know where you work that your business. also the tortoise was ship to the zoo address why? you should have had it shipped to your home! your just a vet helper trying to make your self look and sound so important! when your just a loser and lier! dont bother ever ordering anything from us because you will be refused and we reserve the right not to sell to certain problematic customers! also i know why you tried to get us to belive you where getting it for the zoo. you want to get the tortoise for a cheaper price but found out the hard way that we were not going to give you a 12 inch tortoise at cost. which is why you really are mad! first you about the price that you could have got one cheaper elsewhere then you start talk about the tortoise load with worms. i wonder if given your track record if any of these are true or your just a hater trying to add there two cent in on my thread at my expense i guess we will never know however I hope you do not live in that state because by law you are not suppose to poss. any turtle or tortoise in tenn. we shipped that tortoise to the memphis zoo not for your personal collection. dont worry i contacted the zoo and informed them of this transaction between us! and i have the invoice to prove this as well. let how you weasel your way out of this!

Zoo's DO NOT require a "special" transaction form from the curator of the area, in this case, Steve Reichling at the Memphis Zoo. NOR does a CEO have to sign off on it.

I agree with you Randall. As of right now I sell to about 28 zoos, and each one has its own way of doing things. Some operate with POs, and some just pay me with a credit card over the phone or computer. But I've never had to wait for a curator or other "official" to ok the transaction. In most cases it's a keeper just doing the curators bidding anyway. As for Vic making a big fuss over all this, I'd suggest dropping it. Nobody really cares one way or another about it anyway. Vic should just really, really take my advice I gave him and go find something else to do. Vic, acting like a crazy person here is not going to get you anywhere, but we've talked about this before. If you need to, take a walk in the woods and pound your head against a tree. It might hurt a bit, but you'll get better results. Screaming is another option, and more then likely less painful. I'm really just trying to help you out here, but if you won't listen then there's nothing else I can do but shake my head as you make yourself look stupid again. You should really stop now

Thank you Randall, You are correct. What we require is the AZA Health inspection form signed by a veterinarian and any records, which most of the time includes an animal data transaction form (ADTF) from the association of zoo keepers. Like vic said, I'm not a vet (nor did I ever tell anyone I was) I am a licensed veterinary medical technician with an associates degree in animal science/veterinary technology. I work FOR the vet here at the zoo, the one vic phoned yesterday trying to get me in trouble. I do not know all the requirements when we are dealing with private dealers since we mostly purchase from other AZA zoos.
I also have never spoken to mr. rivera by phone EVER. I ordered my tortoise by email. Anyways, She is fine now and you can stop harassing me and my coworkers trying to get me fired. If I did anything wrong, the only thing I did was dealing with someone I did not have much info about, and having my tortoise shipped to my work. I just wanted to make sure I got her and at the time didn't realize I could've had her held at my post office. That will be my method in the future if I ever trust another seller over the net. No other parties were involved in this transaction, nor will they be able to give you any information. Steve and Chris both know me, and know I have a personal tortoise collection, as does Mike as he's looked at some of my tortoises, and also know that I live in a state that it's legal to have them. That's all I have left to say in this matter. You really need to go have a few drinks or whatever it is you do to settle down, being a stalker is really not going to help your situation. I have no intention of buying animals from you so you have nothing to worry about me trying to buy, but I think it is probably a good idea in the future for your to clarify from your buyer if they are going to be keeping animals in a legal territory so lesson learned on both our parts.

I am sure Steve and Mike would appreciate you throwing their names out there for people like Mr. Rivera to call and harass them, which he has already done. Although I was wrong about the adtf form and shouldve blocked out my work info (shipping info), your comment had nothing to do with this discussion. I was simply trying to get the point across that Victor never asked me anything about who this animal was for and ddn't even remember what animal i purchased when leaving his messages and talking to my various coworkers when he phoned them yesterday. The point of this is that I ONLY used this as a shipping address with MY name and Animal Health on the package, nothing more, nothing less. There is NO grounds foryou or anyone else to bring the zoo into it. And throwing their names around doesn't "scare" me. I didn't do anything wrong at work, nor have I slandered the zoo's name by any means at all. So if you have a problem, you can address me and not annoy other people like my boss, and co workers.

I have no problem throwing Steve's or Mikes name out there. Steve has known me for abt 20 years. I am not "throwing" names around as you claim, and I never said YOU did anything wrong or unethical. I just want to keep them in the loop. Got a problem with that? Your the one who used the zoo's address which implies it was for the zoo.
I don't need to scare you, your doing a good job yourself by insinuating that your a "victim" continually posting," I never did anything wrong at work" etc.
Say "hi" to Sarah for me, she used to work at the zoo I currently work at.

That's great that you know them. I'm still not sure what that has to do with me, but if you knew Mike as well as I do, you would know he would probably rather do without Victor's calls that have nothing to do with him, about some "nasty emails" so he claims I sent him when I was not even at work that day. If you were my friend, I wouldn't like you posting my first, last names, and position on a public forum. and for the record, that package had my name on it, and my department, where it was going to. The people I work with get personal shipments at work all the time, and I have gotten 2, ever. One from Glades, and One from victor and somehow now everyone at the zoo needs to be "in the loop" about what I buy for personal use? I don't go asking people I work with what they buy for their kids for christmas that gets shipped to the zoo when I go pick it up on the admin office for them, or what kinds of other personal stuff they order. I guess I am a little confused as to why you feel that they need to keep tabs on me. That would IMPLY that YOU think I did something wrong, hence the need for me to defend myself.

Why do you care if the Zoo Staff know's what your getting from Fed EX or wherever?
I only implied that you recieved shipment at the zoo and I can see where Vickie made the connection or thought YOU led him on that's it's for the zoo. Nothing more or less.
However, IF you are/were representing the zoo in your initial contact with Vickie, I could see where he was mis-led and thought the tort was for the zoo.
Make sense? Thus, the problem you have here.

Does anyone realize that Victor, the fella that this thread was started about, is still posting animals for sale on Fauna, and still has an up and running, somewhat successful website??? This thread has gotten so askewed from what it was originally started for, that this guy has been lost in conversation, going on with his "business as usual". I have to say that if you have nothing to contribute to the facts of Victors bad business practices, you need to READ ONLY. Adding your $.02 to this thread only makes it harder to pick out the facts of what he did. You all are essentially helping him slip through the cracks and start posting adds again. Given enough time, this will most certainly happen again. And then it will be back to square 1. I have seen in a Cornsnake ad on Fauna that he still list snakes for sale. Fauna should not let this happen.

from reading all the crap on here this BIO thread is nothing but a witch hunt! with a select group of people with no lives,haters and people with nothing better to do then spread lies and deceive the public with there one sided stories. yes i think i put it all in a nut shell!
