• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello All!

I am Scott Owen from Virides Reptile in Australia, we manufacture reptile products and have been in business since 2010, selling both in Australia and around the world.

We wanted to join a forum/classifieds site and found this to be the best one!

We have gone through the process of already getting Benefactor status, a sponsor place on one of the classifieds section and adding funds to the FaunaAds account.

While I can see that we have the badge activated, how do I know what to do with the Sponsor ad? Does someone contact me or do I have to contact someone in order to get the link and text organised?

Also while I have been trying to find an FAQ or post about it, I really want to know what are the rules around responding to someones thread with a link to our website/product when it relates to the subject of the thread? Say for instance someone is mentioning they would like some kind of product X and we had X, could we reply to their thread to point them to our website to the product page of X?

Anyways, looking forward to looking through this site and interacting with the other members on here :)

In regard to your "Classified Sponsorship" info, that will be a function the site owner could help you out with, (Webslave). He is very good at getting with people, so he might just be out for the moment, but I will give him a heads up as well.
