    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

After careful thought and planning, asking around and contacting many vendors; I decided to invest in a Vision Rack System for my collection.

I decided on the Table Top version, and got a mix of V18, V35 and V70 tubs.

Packaging and Shipment

I was very impressed with the packaging as everything was wrapped for protection and boxed appropriately. Everything came labeled, and nothing was left out. I could tell a lot of time and care went in to preparing the rack for shipping.

Assembly and Quality

Assembly was a breeze and everything went together and fit perfectly. I was impressed by the ease of assembly and the way the bins fit and slide out smoothly. The quality is flawless in my opinion. It was an area I really wanted to put focus on when the rack was assembled as a lot of people have commented that the rack seems flimsy. In my opinion its solid; I picked it up, moved it around, shook it with the bins inside, without the bins inside and its absolutely solid. I don't know what more you can ask for in a rack system that houses reptiles. I am also sold on the fact that I can keep baby, juvenile, and adult all in the same rack and not have to purchase separate systems. I have no complaints on the quality and the way the rack presents itself.

Price and Overall Thoughts

The price is more than fair in my opinion for what you get. I think the overall weight for the rack and bins was around 90 pounds, so the shipped price was very reasonable.

My impressions as far as the price, assembly, quality and presentation, is that it couldn't be built any better. I have absolutely no complaints, the rack itself and the bins to go with it have exceeded my expectations. I will review further after the snakes are moved in and had a chance to adapt to the new surroundings. I wanted to thank Vision Products for their service, attention to detail and for an outstanding product! I am impressed.

Thanks for the review. I'm curious how it holds heat/humidity. Do you have it in a temp/humidity controlled room where you're not so dependent on the rack to provide and hold the heat?

The way the bases or platforms of the rack is setup is that they come with rows of pre-drilled, pre-cut holes around I want to say 1/4 inch or smaller in diameter. The bins are slid in, in a way that the platform with the holes serves as the ventilation and is the top for the bins. This basically means you no longer have to drill/solder holes directly into the bins as the platforms are vented to control humidity. I imagine its based on your setup, but it seems that humidity can be controlled much better with vision's setup. If there is too much humidity, the bins can be soldered/drilled out.

I actually have a portable oil heater on a double ranco to control the temperature within my room. The rack also comes with 50 something feet of heat cord that you could use for belly heat and to maintain a hot spot for each enclosure. There is clips on the bases/levels that allow you to configure the cord to provide less/more heat dependant upon the species you are housing. It really is a neat setup.

Going further, the rack is open in that it resembles a freedom breeder/ap economy line racks, so its in my opinion that it wouldn't hold the heat in that way that a BoaPhile, enclosed rack system would hold heat. If the room is heated via portable heater or other controlled heat, I would say that the Vision system would be perfect, and the best bang for the buck.
