    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I like this forum. I was right here when it started. It's good to welcome new guys to the hobby and to our site.
 
I remember that, Lucille - it was YOUR forum - and it is a good section...just not for me (especially with the type of content I quoted when I made that comment)

That said, this IS the Welcome Room - NOT the BOI - and things have gone well out of the intended scope of this forum. If people would like to continue the issue with Jaime, please take it to the BOI...or, to an appropriate discussion forum if things are to be addressed in general terms.

lesson i had to learn myself

hey jamie, every letter you type and word you put down on here you have to triple read and think twice and say to yourself, is there anything i wrote that someone can misconstrue or twist. being new i already have had a problem and not meaing it the way it was taken. some ppl on here are awsome (most of them) and there are a few to seem to be a pain in the :censored:... like someone said before, i mostly read an not respond but they have seemed to be lying because every where i look i see them typing in someones thread and its a negative comment or there just tryin to make you look bad. those ppl just blow off there not important then there are the cool ones who try and guide you throw any problems. theres a guy "big meanie" hes seems to be pretty kool and has helpful info. but anyway from new guy to new guy Welcome to Fauna
 
and def. think the welcome room is a good forum. helps you meet and greet newpeople and to put yourself out there the right way!
