    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

One more thing as i said i think it was some kind of cocktail i didnt mean it was administered all at once which it wasnt it was seperate. A cocktail doens't have to mean it was al given at once. Like some people who have AIDS/ HIV take a cocktail of drugs its not so much as all taken at once but just some different things.

Two things.

1. You can not "soak" snakes and then call them medicated. Soaking privides NO real dosage specifics. At BEST some snakes get SOME medicine. AT Worst the soaking leads to cross-contamination of all your animals. Oral medications such as Flagyl and Panacur must be given one animal at a time, measured, and then tubed into the snake.

2. 10 to a tub is fine as long as you expect to lose a bunch. I'm losing more this year than last keeping one per tub. I think there's an outbreak of some kind in AFRICA, no where near as bad as '98, but it's not been a good year so far. 10 per tub will allow the animals to infect each other quite nicely.

Not trying top bust your balls ( I think there's a pun in there somewhere) but when you deal with CH balls you must expect there to be bad years. And I think this is one of them. If you looked over the snakes when they came in and were satified w/ thier outward appearance, how could he have known any different? No such thing as a reptile mind reader.
 
Mike, how long have you worked with snakes? Because so far just about everything that you have posted here is just nonsense.

1) You would have "hundreds" of animals just dropping dead, and yet you would not freeze the dead animals or have some evidence of their death to offer to the person you obtained them from?

2) You medicated snakes by soaking them in a "cocktail"? And yes "cocktail" means to give multiple medications all at once. Ask a vet or doctor. How are you able to assume that the snakes did not die from an overdose of medications? If they were dehydrated and drank more than they should couldn't it be your fault that they died? Are you a licensed vet? How many snakes have you medicated in your life? Too much Flagyl WILL KILL baby ball pythons just like that. As someone who has used Flagy and Panacur on tens of thousands of animals and administered it correcty, I know all about proper usage.

3) What is the value of this axanthic? You told Alex $3500, you posted here $5000, and you have on your website $10000. You also have it listed as a Barker line axanthic when now it is a Joliff line animal. It is really hard to give you any benefit of the doubt when the facts change every 2 minutes.

4) Is it also true that there are posts/threads on this BOI about you and a friend of yours where you post for each other pretending to not know one another when you have made it clear he is your best friend? Also that there is a positive thread about you posted by your girlfriend?

5) I'd also like to know how old you are as I have heard that you represented your experience with reptiles to several people via phone and email to be quite extensive for quite a few years, but I have also been informed that you are too young for that to be possible. Please clear this up for me.

Please clear these issues up so that we can have a better idea of your credibility here in this thread.

Ball pythons

Well when I first saw the thread I was going to point out some obvious problems in regards to the methods of medication and the dosages etc. etc. However, it seems it has been covered. As to the inconsitencies of the staments...obvious again. So....I at least , would have had necropcies done on a few and blood work on 1-2 remaining live ones. It's not that expensive and it would have answered the important questions. I know they're only 5.00 but, consider the lives that could be saved...not to mention give ammunition so to speak for being correct or incorrect. Evan's question piqued my curiosity, so I decided to check oon it myself. I'm rather curious as to how the deception will be explained.
 
This is the thread that somehow got lost during database errors on 6/17. My programmer has thankfully recovered it for us (this guy is a real wizard!).

But since another thread has been started up when this one vanished, I do not believe we need to have two concurrent threads running about the same topic. This one was recovered so that statements made within it could be scrutinized in their original form.

As such, I am closing this thread and encouraging anyone with anything further to add to this discussion to continue in the other thread:
