    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hey i want to start a roach colony to feed all my geckos. i breed crested nd leopard geckos. what roach should i keep? i want non climbing and non egg laying ones. please help!

Get dubias. I feed 3/4" nymphs to my cresteds and they love 'em. They don't climb, they don't fly, they give birth to live young, so it sounds like a good match for ya!

I just started mine, i got the starter colony with three adult pairs, then another order of 100 small roaches. the trick is to leave all the older ones totally alone. i fed a few of the smaller ones to my dragons, but i've decided to not even do that for about 3 months.
I also ordered the one pound super value roach food, and i'm pretty much set for several months. i even use the roach food to gut load the crickets

Since i bought the roaches from Theroach guy, i've been bombarding him with setup, and care questions, and the dude (Jason is his name) has been awesome. prompt email responses, honest helpful advice. he'll treat you right and make sure you are takin care of. the kinda guy to do business with for sure!!

do you know if he sells adult also or just babies and young ones.

the ones i bought were 3 adult pairs, then like 200 assorted sizes, but quite a few of them looked close to adult size.

I looked at the web site but it looks as if all he sells is young with a few adults but no adults by themselves.

You can find people selling adults.....I recently made a few purchases to bump up the colony.

If you are looking to start a new colony and get great service, I agree Jason is the guy to go to.

I use a different breeder but hes a little on the low side right now on adults and.was just looking for some one new. I breed my own but just wanted to purchase more adult breeders to mix my colony up with.
