    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My beardie is almost full grown, and I have read that he needs to be in a bigger vivarium than I have him in.
He is currently in a 3' long x 12" wide x 12" deep vivarium.
I do have an old aquarium that is 5' long x 18" wide x 26" deep that I was thinking about using for him.

It's so deep that it will be difficult to reach in for cleaning, etc. once it's on a stand. This was used for fish, so it doesn't have front opening.
I could possibly try to sale the aquarium and buy an enclosure, but I'm having a difficult time finding anything that's big enough for a full grown beardie that can be delivered to me (or not a real long drive to pick up) for less than 600.00 that is 5' long.

My questions:
a.) is it necessary for him to be in something 5' x 2' x 2' ?
b.) does anyone have any links they can send to some decent priced vivariums that are big enough?

I see them 4' long everywhere online, but I keep reading that he needs around 5' long.

thank you

To answer your questions:
a.) It is not necessary for him to be in a 5x2x2
b.) I don't have any links, but you could visit the websites of the people advertising on here and compare prices. I bought my cages off of Craigslist.

I have 3 beardies and the smallest cage for an adult is a 40 gallon breeder which is 36"x18"x17". My 2 females are in 3'x2'x18" and my male is in a 4x2x2.
