In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi I have heard that there are some carpondros on the market this year and I am looking for them. Thanks Vinnie

Without plugging another website, I think this is the only major classifieds site they haven't been advertised on.

Just FYI, they were $2K each...in other words, an expensive pet. :)

Yea they are alot for a pet. I was thinking more for breeding though. I did a google search and there are some old adds from last week but I cant access them because they are expired. I may try to make some of my own next year but if I can get a year head start with the hardest part done already well worth the 1500-2k

I don't know if they're sterile or not, but I'm not going to be the guy to spend $2K to find out. ;)

I'll try to make my own before I spend $2K buying a snake that I might not be able to breed. However, if I were in the market for an expensive toy, I might reconsider. :D

Sterile??

Has the virility of past carpet/chondro crosses been established yet? Or is their sterility just an assumption at this point? I've seen and owned quite a few crosses (not carpondros) that bred quite well.

Not doubting anyone's opinion here, just looking for some education now.

By the way, they are $1000 per, $2000 pair. Still an expensive animal according to my budget!!!

Carpondro pic

If no one minds, these are a few of the carpondro babies that were produced here in the northeast this season. Not by, but a good friend. If he's got any left unsold, I told him to offer them up here.

If they have been proven to be infertile I was not aware. I would pay $1000 for a chance to find out as long as no one knows yet. Its almost along the same lines of a breeder paying good money for an unproven imported possible morph. There is always some sort of risk involved, at least if things did not pan out I would still be left with a nice captive bred display animal rather than a $50 nice normal Ball Python. Vinny as far as those pics you posted the first one is NOT of a baby Carpondro but rather a pic I saw floating around about 2 years ago of an adult male. The second picture looks to be a baby carpondro however. Do you have any contact info for this friend that produced them? I also live in the North East and might be able to arrange to pick one up as I am a very motivated buyer.

You're right, of course. That first picture is of an adult. Sorry about that. I have a bunch of pics the breeder sent me. Mostly babies, but a few adults to show what they might look like in the future (yes, I bought a pair)
Like I said, I don't want to toss his contact info out without his permission, but I e-mailed him about this thread and your interest, so hopefully he'll either contact you or post here soon.
Just for the record, if he does contact you, I know him for about 15 years, and he's the best.

Yea, I think it is safe to say that is definitely a baby lol. Thanks alot for the pics and for passing on my intrest. Good luck with your pair. They are truly awesome animals breedable or not. I could only imagine what F2's would look like, or better yet 75% GTP x 25%JCP crosses. Mind Blowing!!! LOL

Carpondro contact info!!

Ok Vinny, and whomever else might be interested, here's the contact info about the guy who bred the Carpondros. There is still some availability. The Breeder is Jay Jacoby, and he's in PA. I've known him forever and I can vouch for him being a great, honest guy.
His email address is: [email protected]

By the way, he also breeds eyelash vipers and amazing
diamondXcarpets.

CHONGLES

I have a picture at work to prove that a accidental mating happpened between and Jungle Carpet Python and a Green Tree Python, but Python Pete (kingsnake.com) tried the breeidng as well, and the eggs were viable, didn't work. I am actaully going to try it in a few years wiht an all blue phase gtp and one of my carpets. I found a great deal for an all blue gtp in California, hopefully I will be able to get it. Python Pete does show pictures of copulation wiht the jungle and gtp, so they are able to at lweast get that far.
