In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hi. I live in tulsa oklahoma. I have owned many pythons over the past several years. However I have never had a big one. I spent some money building a cage big enough for one up to 20 feet. For christmas this year i would really like to take the final step after 4 years and own a monster size burm or retic. However after christmas shopping for everyone else i dont have alot left for me haha ( i guess thats the way it goes) but if someone has something at a decent price and it is tame then i would love to have it. I sold all my smaller snakes and burms so that i can focus completly on one or two of the big guys! I dont really want to even breed them I just want one with a good temperment that wont mind being stuck with me for years to come!!

my cell is 918 857 0128 if anyone wants to call or leave a post here!
Thanx so much

Kyle

well shoot me a price for them.. I dont know. I am not out to rip anyone off bro! but im also not out to break the bank which is already on the brink haha. What do you think would be fare? I am not sure about there prices and like i said, i am not out to rip anyone off or lowball anyone.

kyle

well i paid 350 for the tiger when is was a hatchling now i will take 600.oo shipped and for the burm 450.00 shipped and the burm is pending sale but no cash yet

hey I dont really know how to shoot you a price haha i dont really know what they go for. I have a green burm that i will throw in with it to. It is around 6 1/2 feet probably and I dont know what the sex is. She is a really great snake though but I just dont like the colors on greens. I want a large albino burm. Let me know

i dont know anything abot the prices.. I have a green burm still that i could throw in to, yha know whatever its value is use it to top the sale off. Its about 6 1/2 feet long and she is really sweet. she gets handled pretty much all day everyday. I am not sure of the sex though.

The other guy told me they were way to high.. and someone else told me they were great haha. I am so confused here. How much is my green burm worth? because i want to either sell her or throw her in the deal because i want only one large albino burm

im just sayin that they were high compared to prices i have seen over the web. and yes the ones i have seen were very nice animals for good price for that much they better be prefect in every way.

The prices you were quoted are not bad prices for a burm. or a retic. If you want something cheaper you might invest in a baby and raise it. They get big with in just a couple of years. Or you could look at other ads for greens, figure out a price and offer her for sale. With a little research you should be able to find what you want in your price range. Good luck!

you all have been really helpful and thank you all so much! Im 18 and reallly dont know what im doing. Im sorry that i caused a fight :(. I didnt know that my questions would cause one. Im sorry. Maybe i just dont need to get a big snake after all, from this its apparent I cant handle it or something. Once again im sorry! Kyle

p.s i guess i will just give my green burm away and ill use my christmas big snake money to pay shipping. so does anyone want her shipping included?

Really?

You said you have been keeping pythons for a while. You said you were "ready" for a big one. You said you had little money. Your profile says you are 21. You also said you don't know what you're doing...You are sounding very much like that "masterofsnakezz" guy or whatever his name was.

Now you want to "give away" your green (seemingly for free) AND pay shipping?

I don't know if this was ever a serious post, but you might consider putting your green up for a trade for a larger albino. Consider a male, as a large breeder female might be out of the question. You might also consider having your green sexed, it might help determine what you would get for it.

Thoroughly confused and just trying to help,

Gabe

Kyle, you have a green burm already, please raise it and you will have you the monster sized snake that you desire. Taking on someones unknown animal is not a smart thing to do.
Have you ever been bitten by your snake? Have you seen a bite that a 12 foot retic can deliver? Please rethink your position on this. I don't normally try to discourage people in their love for herps, however, I do not feel that you are prepared for the lesson of owning a very large animal that you did not raise yourself.

You need to either get over yourself or well,,, just plain learn to appreciate that the good people of fauna appreciate good animals at a good price. Not at ungodly, something must be wrong with it, prices.

When you're talking about large snakes, the cost of the snake itself is the least of your worries. I spent $200 on a 5.5 ft. female Burm, then spent well over $1,000 on providing her with an appropriate environment. And of course, one vet visit is going to send that $100 you saved on a snake swirling right down the toilet. If said snake infects your collection with something, you can easily see four figures in vet bills in no time, never mind euthanizing some or all of your beloved pets.

Reptiles are like tattoos; you probably shouldn't buy based on price alone. :)

Kevin, I think what Sara is getting at is this poster seems to be trolling many ads. Also, offering ridiculous low-ball prices on adult animals that people would normally pay for a neonate or yearlings. I know I would love to spend my time raising up a boa to have this guy try and low-ball me for 100.00 shipped, so I can sell her for what, 50.00 after I pay for shipping.

Ah, my bad: I should have recognized the Common Garden Variety Troll (Slopebrow Moronicus) when I saw one.

This whole topic just hit one of my pet peeves. If you can't/don't want to pay a fair price for a large constrictor, how do you plan to feed and house this beast when it's fully grown? It amazes me how many people will buy a cheap snake without budgeting for its later requirements -- especially when you're dealing with animals like Burms and Retics which can outgrow a 4' cage in their first year.

wow im sorry if i did start a gfight haha.. Yea to whoever was confused. I know how u feel trust me i feel the same. I have raised several snakes in the past but this is my first green burm. I dont know how much they go for at all, in fact i think they are ugly hhaha.. i think i put some pics of her up... did it work?

That "ugly" snake looks just beautiful to me. If I lived closer to you (and if I had the room and if my partner wouldn't throw me off our balcony for bringing home another Burm...) I'd be happy to take her off your hands.

wow u think she is pretty? im glad someone does. I dont know she reminds me of a babies diaper haha... I guess im mean like that but i think she is soooo ugly but yea all my friends think she is the mose beautiful thing they have ever seen haha. Maybe im color blind??? haha.. Shes a big eater though, whoaa... but the one thing I cant figure out is everyone is always talking about aggressive feeders and all burms have a feeding responce, she doesnt at all. She is always so chill haha. In fact I have a video i am going to try to post. last time she ate at large rat she crawled up to it, didnt even strike, slowly opened her mouth and just bit the thing on the back slowly, then she put a coil on it, a few min later she ate it haha.. (yea sometimes i feed her live) she has never been bitten or ever scratched though! usally shes a really fast striker but for some reason she was a lazy bumm a couple days ok. It was so funny though!
