• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I'm disgusted by anyone who would steal from a rescue.

I wish these two would come post here. Just seeing some of their replies on facebook would keep me away from them. It wouldn't take them long here before people would see right through them, the lies they tell, and the immaturity.
 
Absolutely disgusting. I'd make it a point to make sure as many people see this thread as possible and put them out of the reptile keeping hobby.
 
Austin was notified of the thread the day it was posted. I know Juliah is his girlfriend but did anyone notify her? I'm pretty sure if he knows she must know this post is here but in the off chance she doesn't maybe someone should notify her as well so she has the opportunity to post here as well. I'd really like to see them come here and post as well.
 
I messaged both of them on FB. To be honest it was not a complimentary message but they know. They were easy to find and after looking at their pages it is easy to see them indulging in this kind of behavior.
 
Uh yes, they are aware of the thread and have assured me it will be deleted soon. Somebody should let Rich know. I guess the threats of lawyers and lawsuits come next.

I agree Sam. I intend to make as many people aware of this as possible. To me it's kind of like the lady locally that got caught stealing from the Good Will clothes drop off bin. JMO
 
They can't afford to take their pets to the vet but can afford a lawyer, that's hilarious! Like we haven't heard that one before! Someone should tell theme that if they did have a lawyer, said lawyer would tell them not to respond and the lawyer would take care of it. If they do come here and behave the way they did on the Facebook post, they won't be here very long!

Yes, they are both aware. Austin says they will try to refund the $20 at the expo this Sunday. I agreed and will post here after the event.
 
I hope they follow through and return your $20 and I pray they do not buy any more animals there. I wish there was a way to warn the vendors at the expo about them.
 
I'm sorry they didn't make things right with you. Ithe doesn't surprise me tho. I bet they bought new animals if they went to the expo. It's really sad, the poor animals deserve better!
