    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So far we have one side to this post. Sheila can you give us more info like what day & time did you call, who did you actually speak to & what purchase were you going to make after contacting them? If you were dealt with in an undeserved manner im sure Ben will look into it. Ben doesn't have the good reputation that he has from "being rude".
 
i agree 100% also just so everyone know this person has taken it upon themselves to start a harrassment campaign aganst me we'' see just how her local police feel about it

Sheila- I don't think anyone was slamming you but Ben obviously has a great reputation and it would be of major importance if you could elaborate on your dealings with Ben or his employees when posting on the BOI.

Being rude comes in all levels and degrees. Personally I really don't care for rudeness and expect great customer service. Some folks come off as being rude when they don't mean to. That's were making snap judgments of folks shouldn't be made. I have been told that I come off as a bit rude at times but I can assure you I am truly one of the nicest people you could meet. :cool:

Please explain yourself in detail. What made Ben seem rude to you? What kind of transaction were you inquiring about? Hopefully you can shed light on the subject you posted about. The BOI really should be used for the countless number of scumbags that rip people off and abuse the hobby. I don't know Ben, judging from the responses here and what I have read he isn't a scumbag but someone that has a good rep.

All of my dealings witht hem have been great. Very pleasant to talk to and I have never lost any animal I purchased from them.
 
Actually posting, in detail, what occurred would probably clarify the situation greatly Sheila. I think the reason you are getting a bit of flack is that you are coming off as a tad on the hysterical side. State your case in a calm and rational manner and I think you will find a decidely better reception from this board.

we'll i am now on email number 6 from shiela apparently her husband has now decided to get involved and he is also haarssing me claming to be a county sherriff and how im going to jail for threatening her life whatever thats about. i dont even think that sheila is a adult and judgeing from the posts that she has placed and her emails that she has been sending me i highly doubt that this thread has any validity

Sheila, John and Robin...lets take this back to an adult level of discussion. Religous jibes and threats have no place here. This is a disagreement as to business practices only. You guys have escalated the situation a lot further than is warranted.

threats????? what threats??? what of contacting her local law enforcment and pressing harrassment charges??? dont you think 8 emails from her in 20 min constitutes as harrassment??? i dont know how topost emails or i would this person is a grade a certifiable loon and i have the emails to prove it all iposted to get harrassed was my first post on this thread that is what started it all 3 more emails befor i posted on here for the second time if anyone need to bring this back to an adult level its sheila if anyone would like to see her emails feel free to email me and i will foward them along with my replies i havent ben harrassed like this since my buddy bob sloan i wouldnt doubt if they were from bob sure soundslike his style!

I, too, have received multiple unsolicited emails from Sheila this evening, all of which I replied to calmly, addressing specific points that she brought up.

Maybe everyone should take a break from this thread unless Sheila or Ben come on to address the initial allegation.

Why is Sheila attacking John? I went back and read his first post and the only bad thing is the word damn. Maybe she is a little whacked.
 
If Mr. Ben had been nicer to me, i am so sure i would have felt the same way all the rest of you do. But sense he was mad at my son, he choose to be mean to me, and i did nothing wrong to deserve his rudeness!!!

Sounds like more to this story then Ben being outright rude to you.

I have delt with Ben and hi wife numerous times and nerver been treated poorly. Did your son perhaps say things then you took over the call knowing full well it was already a heated discussion?
 
I strongly suggest that all participants in this thread calm down and limit the posting to relevant details and civil opinions. And if someone is using the email features or private messaging functions of this site to send someone else harrassing messages, please note that this is sufficient cause to have your account suspended. What you do via your own email system is your own business, but using this message board to harrass other members will not be tolerated.
 
Sorry to jump in... I agree, more evidence is needed. Ben has maintained a positive reputation, although I have never dealt with him personally. However, it is my personal opinion Ben may have been straight-forward without the intention to offend the customer. I've dealt with other reputable dealers, breeders and local pet shop owners, all seem to share one thing in common. They are straight-forward honest people. Perhaps you may have taken his response the wrong way? Hmm...

Webslave, in my opinion I think this thread ought to be thrown right into "hell" since it has no validity ( no evidence ) and there had been nothing but accusations, name calling and the such. This is not what the BOI is for, That is what the "hell" forum is for.

Hi, I dont know this ben fellow or ever done business with him, but people dont build good reps. by being asses it just doesnt happen that way, what i really think happend is that this chick probally never even talked to Ben but really just wanted something to yell about and what not. i think this chick is a bit looney and should probally be put away for a little while. but hey thats just me. and lady go a see a doctor or something hey maybe even a pyschotheripist. i dont know its just an opinon. and the dude thats getting the emails you should email them to me i would love to read them.

If the whole controversy was because somehow seller did not provide shipping details, I am sure with the expertise we have here, we can help buyer figure out how to calculate shipping, or any other info of that nature that she may require. As to exactly what happened, I was not there, perhaps an email notifying seller of this thread might be appropriate.
Buyer: what sort of shipping info do you need?
