In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Warning, Do Not Buy From Jason Littel of Northwoods Reptiles

Ok maybe you people did not understand me. I said that I consider this issue to be closed. I am not obligated to show anything to anyone
You are upset enough to post....
you spent money on beardeds..
then you spent money on vet
then this case is closed?
don't you want any of your money back?

also you do not have to show anything to anyone....
but if you go bad mouthing someone...you better have proof.

What about I start a thread on how bad you are as a customer or a breeder and tell the world I bought from you...
but then I say the case is closed without showing proof.

wouldn't you want me to show proof?
or would you let it go because the case is "closed"?
remember.....your name would still have accusations against it with no proof.

His number is right there.....

I am offering a free 2 month old Bearded Dragon to anyone who is interested. I acquired the dragon from a neighbor who moved and did not have the time to care for it. I have no interest in reptiles, but I took the Dragon anyways to assure that it receives proper care in the meantime. I am very busy with my job and have little time to care for the Dragon. I just want it to have a good home. I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin, so if you live anywhere close or are willing to pay shipping to your house, let me know. Thanks
Less than four weeks ago
1. your neighbor moved
2. you were giving away dragons you had no time for
I know this smell is not normal for beardies, because my neighbor has kept beardeds for years and his never smelled nearly this bad. I took the beardeds to the vet the day after I bought them on reccomendation from my neighbor, as he agreed that the feces should not smell that bad.
1. your neighbor who moved advised you to take the beardes to a vet.
2. your neighbor who moved knew how badly they smelled and advised you to take them to a vet.

Ok I do not know what connection you people have to Northwoods reptiles, but you obviously are on his side.
so asking questions about a story that is incomplete at best and fishy at worst is taking sides? You still have not answered anyones questions.

but as aforementioned.....there is the phone. call them.

I called my vet and asked him if stress could have caused the problems, and he said it very well could have. The vet really did not pin point any one cause. I guess I would owe you an apology if that were the case.

Please Contact Me

Hey Bill,
I'm glad you appoligized and I accept it . I still want you to contact me. I'd like to make sure the dragons are allright and I would like to see if you did get them from me. I haven't had a problem like this before that's including going to shows and shipping them out. I stand behind the quality of the reptiles I sell.

Sincerely,

I have been doing alot of research online now and I definitely owe jason an apology. Beardies do in fact get higher parasite levels as a result of stress. I could have never imagined that.

Ok maybe you people did not understand me. I said that I consider this issue to be closed. I am not obligated to show anything to anyone. This is a free post where you rate your experiences with other breeders, and I did just that. So lets just leave it there. I also bought from three other breeders at the show, one being Garrick from Crested Gecko.com. I bought some leos from Garrick, and he helped me out with any questions I had, and is all around a great breeder. He deserves all of the praise in the world. I also bought from captive bred specialties. They also have good stock. I only give credit where credit is due. So if you want an apology, you have a long ways to go.

The above was posted 9:53 pm EST.........8:53 pm his time

I'm really good freinds with Garrick it's funny because he was upset he didn't sell a single gecko for the first time ever at a show. He only sold other herps. So theirs a lie.
the above was completely ignored by Bill/northlight

I am glad everyone is happy and wanting to close this matter.
I for one see questions avoided.
I for one am having problems believing the time lines.
I guess in Wisconsin Veterinary offices stay open late so they can asnwer simple questions as "does stress affect blahblah blah"

I guess I am the only dumb one whois having problems with this whole stinking story

You're not the ONLY one Ritchie, but with "The Ferret" on the job some of us, well I guess I should only speak for myself so I, just watch things come apart as you do that thing you do.

I suspect you have other fans who are not quite so outspoken as am I.

Keep it up Ritchie, I'm curious to see where this one ends up.

probably nowhere since questions are either purposely or "accidentally on purpose" avoided.

I for one would like to see proof before someone starts bad mouthing me.
I for one....if i sold them...would not be happy with the explanation of...."I was wrong because of research I did online".
Now that may be good enough for SOME circumstances.....I do not think it is good enough for this one. because of the aforementioned.
1. Timelines
2. Ignored questions
3. presentation of facts or laqck thereof.

The only thing that will satisfy me in this case is a "believable" story / timeline
and or something saying they made the whole thing up
and or answers to the questions and points that were brought up.
and or some facts to prove the story.

wether anyone wants to admit it or not......
THE BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON THE ACCUSER

Mr. Luna,
I believe the accuser has admitted he jumped the gun as stated below.

I have been doing alot of research online now and I definitely owe jason an apology. Beardies do in fact get higher parasite levels as a result of stress. I could have never imagined that.

This appears above your two previous messages. Apparently Mr. Obston has done some more research and came to the conclusions mentioned earlier by other members. And he has admitted he owes Jason an apology. Pretty good ending to this thread in my estimation.

Best regards,

Carson Grindstaff

I agree with Carson. I e-mailed Bill I would still like to see the beardeds to see if they were mine but he was an adult and appoligized for the situation. That's why I consider this closed if he chooses to let me see them it's his choice. I appreciate all the good points everyone has brought up and saw that their were holes in the story. Thanx to everyone for helping us resolve this situation.

Sincerely,
North Woods Reptiles

If some guy I have never heard from says he bought from me.
If some guy who has never seen my stock says they are all sick.
If some guy tells stories whos timeline does not make sense.
If some guy outs me as a horrible business without proof.
no amount of apologizing will make it right...... until I do one of the following.

1. determine it truly was my animal.............then I will make it right.
or
2. determine the jerk never bought a thing off me.......then I will out him to the world as the biggest liar .... a guy that ALL sellers should avoid.

p.s. if you look at number two........you will see there is a lot more at stake here than just this. He can do the same thing to other unsuspecting people.

basically I want the TRUTH to come out

oh yeah..there is a lot more here at stake.

you find out it is your animal and make it right.........it would look really good for you business.

you find out it was NOT your animal.........then you pretty much show the world that your animals are NOT sick.

there are pros and cons to everything.

pro.....get it over with matter is closed and move on with life.
CON.....people like me would start thinking....."why does he want this matter closed without further investigation? Does he have something to hide in regards to his stock?"

I am not insinuating anything. Just letting you know how MY mind works. Not everyone works like mine of course. so I guess it is your call

This may not be the case, but...

...I also frequent and sell through the National Alternative Pet Association website, and there have been numerous occasions when radical animal rights groups will post fake "WARNINGS" about individuals to smear reputations and cause dissention amongst the community. This is the very reason I am unwilling to accept a bad word about ANY breeder/seller until I have investigated for myself.

Not to mention any potential customer browsing through sees his name with Warning, Do not buy from. That could have a negative effect on his sales.

Hey Ritchie,
I consider the case close because he appoligized. I tried to e-mail threw the link and it came back mail demon. Theirs nothing you can do if he doesn't contact you I left all my info up here. The main point is he appoligized. I would like to know if they were my animals or not but he won't contact me. I never had this problem before I think it's a mistaking identity. I think far as the thread I think people can read it and see how fishey it is and see threw that as far as how everyone questioned it. I don't think I would've sold out of my babies at the show if they didn't look so great. And if anyone has doughts I think this thread would prove I would go to the extreme to replace a animal or take care of my customers I put up every possible way to get a hold of me except at work for obvious reasons (we can't have personal calls). I stand behind my animals and the quality we are trying to acheive. Like I say to alot of people we want everyone as happy with their reptiles like we are and I hope every one who tries to work on breeding projects have a huge succes it's a wonderfull hobby and I wouldn't want it any different.

Sincerely,
North Woods Reptiles

As the perons who Runs the SEWERFest Show I would like to say that I stand 100% behind Jason. I would also like to say that I personllay bought 26 beardies from him the day of the show, and I am happy with every single one of them. They all have eaten from the beginning, and are very active. I would also like to add that I have no recolection of him having any corns on his table, I may have missed them though since there were 75 tables at the show. I personally would hate to see anything posted with bad remarks about any vendor at my show, and more importantly about the animals there, as I hope to run an extremely clean and healthy show. Once again I stand completely behind Jason, keep up the good work.
