    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

As far as potentially getting an immediate refund from paypal. Try the following;

- Log into your account.
- Click on "contact us" on the bottom of your screen.
- Then click on "contact us by phone or email"...it'll be on the bottom right of the screen.
- Then under the "speak to us" heading, click on "call us if you cant find your answer in the help center"
- Then under the "Paypal Customer service" heading, there will be a telephone # for your paypals "Account Manager"

When you call your personally account manager, do NOT close the paypal page that your on. There is info there that you will be asked to provide, like the "secure web pin."

A couple of times I had some ebay issues. BOTH times, the issues were resolved while I was still on the phone with my account manager. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they handled things. I have NO clue how they can help you with fraud issues. My point is that if you want to talk with an actually person, this is the best way to do it. If you call some generic customer support # you will have to click 20 buttons and still end up getting the run around.

They will probably ask you to provide them with all the evidence you have on this kid. Best case scenario, they might be able to forgo any further "investigation" and refund you your money immediately. Worst case scenario, they wont do anything, and you'll just have to wait and see what happens with the claim. Either way, its worth a try.

Good luck guys.

ok this guy CLEARLY admited to fraud. Using a paypal account that was not his. So has anyone contacted the police? I live about 30 minutes away from him and I have family that are police officers. If you would like post all your information including all emails you had with him in this thread I will print it out and take it to my aunt at the greenville police department and see what can be done about it. She worked in the spartanburg police department for 6 years before transferring to greenville. This guy needs to get something for this. I mean he openly admitted to fraud on a public forum. Something needs to be done. I know you guys want your money back and I do not blame you at all but he needs to suffer some for what hes done. Even if hes not old enough to do time in prison theres always juvie..... Let me know.

That is awesome of you to offer this. This punk's confession needs to be delivered to a Detective at his local PO.

Internet fraud is something they take pretty seriously. At least the scammer was kind enough to confess in writing.

I know as I was reading this I just couldnt believe that the police have not been contacted yet. I have never seen any scammer openly admit so much on a public forum. That just blew my mind

Yeah it's so dumb and weird I keep wondering if something even stranger is going on. But hey, there's more then enough here for the police to investigate I should think - it's awesome for you to help get their attention on this.

My guess would be it's not JKM but someone that either stumbled onto the name or someone that is setting him up for a fall. Just a guess. If he is a juvenile then his parents can be held accountable. Certainly the IP trace will be very telling. Anyone know whos pictures he was using? Good luck getting your money back guys - hope it works out. Get references before you send money and if a deal is too good to be true it probably is.

Ed,
Just for the sake of narrowing the timeline (and because I have some information that I am forced to sit on, at least for the time being)...
What was the date that Kyle paid you from that account?

Yes after 2 hrs or so of searching last night, I located all of the pictures, or I believe they are the pictures they all look alike! They are from several different breeders and one is a very close friend. I was waiting till I could get ahold of him before posting my findings, but since it was asked I am gonna post it.

Harald this is when he made 1 of 2 payments.

Transaction Date: 13 Dec 2009

One of two payments...I'll get back to that. (I'm not pointing any fingers at you, just sorting out some details)
That was Sunday...so if it was an empty account when he accessed it, he either used funds from the sales to the 3 people in this thread OR changed the default payment and charged this to the the accountholder's bank account or credit card. Since Kyle stated the money is all there, it would seem likely that he did the latter. Interesting....

Now, you said one of two payments. Does that mean he still owes you money, that he made the other payment from a different account (or with a different method), or something else?

Wow, I cannot imagine why anyone would go through all that trouble to rip people off and then come on here to brag about it. It just does not line up to me. He has to know that he could go to jail for this (or at least juvie if he is in fact a minor) as it has been said multiple times throughout this thread.

It really sucks that there are people like this out there preying on herpers. Just another reason I'm glad the BOI exists!
