    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think any new members within 100 miles of Bristol should be banned without producing proper identification . Anyone legit should have no problem doing so . This Owens (family ) is getting out of hand .

Ok, so some of the stuff that mrs. foster wrote did come from some of my emails after being subjected to nastiness of her/his own. The excerpts about revealing body parts, illicit activty, etc.. were not. I did send one of her replies in a PM to a moderator since it was not appropriate to post as her response in my opinion. So I will leave this one alone at this point since it appears mrs. foster will not be trading on Fauna for awhile.

I was finishing up reading the posts here by mrs. foster and saw this one which I believe warrants a reply since we are approaching dangerous territory with these kind of allegations. This little excerpt is one that I would ask her to prove just like everything else.

"Those are all emails from Spritzer and are all 100% the emails he sent he even sent a pic of his penis I just didn't post that figured I'd get in some trouble but will fwd to anyone for proof this is why I didn't ship and why I am Leary over everyone on here....But Debra foster is my mom she don't live in my apt. Complex no more the census says she does and that my apt. Is vacant but is not also will send a pic of light bill for proof "

I am going to refrain from posting our email conversations unless the moderator thinks it needs to be done. I don't see the point at this time as the responses make the others look tame.
 
I can't even read the posts from Mindy/Lance! I recognize the words as English, but can't make heads or tails of where thoughts begin, end or otherwise!

I believe my original post and additional post that were made by those that have had contact with Mindy have collectively proven that fact that she is Indeed a scammer...Period! She has now admitted to being related to another known/ proven scammer. In addition to what she has attempted to do, the series of post she has recently made containing profanity, drug use and pornography....Why has she not been BANNED from this site yet? The facts have come out, she has been proven to be a scammer and the public is now aware of this. Mission Accomplished! My kids and others kids read this...this is not acceptable.

Furthermore, In my attempts to be respectful to those that have shared information with me regarding Mindy Foster and not publically posting each of their names, I have received an infraction from one of the moderators on this site. (For attempting to do a good thing, to warn others and to be respectful of those whom were kind enough to share their own experience with Mindy).

I will take my Infraction! But this additional Circus :censored:needs to stop!
 
All i can say is thank goodness for the good guys and gals out there that keep an eye out for folks that like to try to rip off the the good ones.

You could just have easily posted your experience and warning without including other people's stories - same effect, no infractions.
As for the rest of it, you know that we don't edit posts for content. Posts containing foul language are given infractions. When enough points are incurred, bans occur automatically.
You also know that we don't ban people just because somebody calls them a scammer. We also don't serve as judge and jury by banning them when there appears to be evidence - it comes down to the specific rules of the site, and going through the process, just like everybody else. I suspect the Mindy account will end up banned for failing to confirm identity...until that time, this thread will have to serve its purpose.

It appears to me from Mindy's post above that: She should have and could have scammed all of us!! It also appears that she is admitting to using a false identity as well! and she is having fun doing so.

Sorry Harald, I understand rules are rules....but this one should be an exception to the fact! This industry is hurting bad enough as it is, we really don't need people like Mindy Foster to participate in any part of it! BTW- Thank you for only giving me (1) point. It was worth it, helping to get my point across to the 1,500+ people that read this thread. (taking 1 for the team!) :thumbsup:
 
She recently initiated a trade with me that was definitely too good to be true which threw up the first red flag, her join date threw up the second red flag so I told her to friend request me on Facebook and wouldn't you know it... her Facebook page was created THAT same day within the time span of our emails!!! That put the kibosh to the trade! I had been searching her name on here from the day she contacted me and hadn't found anything positive or negative, now I'm very glad I went with my gut on this one. Thank you to everyone who posted here reaffirming my instincts and strengthening the reptile community.
 
The whole town of Bristol may have just gotten red flagged for any reptile related transactions. Unfortunately theirs a saying that holds true more often than not: "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree".. One thing I just realized is the amount some of these snakes are worth isn't "small potatoes" in a small town in Tennessee. Someone could be making a decent living scamming people for BP's, or i should say IS!!!
 
Well, "Mindy", you've had ample time to comply with my request for confirmation of your identity. I've noted that, while you haven't posted, you have continued to visit this site. Unfortunately, this isn't one of those situations where laying low for a while will let things settle down & take the heat off, allowing you to quietly resume activity later.
Your account has been banned for failure to confirm your identity.

To be honest, I'm not sure exactly what happens. I know that I have banned mydummyacct before to test this; and when I attempted to log in under that account, I got the ban screen that wouldn't let me do anything. My guess is that if they are not logged out, they can access and peruse the site...but trying to do anything that requires an active registration (posting, messaging, logging in, etc) the screen will revert to the ban message & they will be stuck there. Second guess is that they receive the ban message, but the activity log continues to show them doing whatever they were doing when the ban took effect (so we see them in a particular forum. For me to find out for sure, I'd have to be motivated enough to employ two devices so I could be online with both accounts at the same time.

Well that one is up to you. I was just curious. When I was temporarily banned back some, I got the screen your talking about.

The only thing you see is that she is logged on, is banned and what page she was on. I don't think that she can actually see anything on her end.

From my understanding,

You can view pages as a guest without being logged on. The minute you log on, you get the ban screen. Your cookies will remember that you are banned. So, when you come back after being banned, you still get the same banned screen.

If you are on a different computer and/or the cache is cleared the site doesn't know automatically. You will be viewing the forum as a "guest", then get the blue screen the minute you tell the site who you are by attempting to log in.


If I remember correctly you can't see pictures or any attachments when you are here as a guest. Once you click on any attachment the system will automatically try to log you in or prompt you for your password.

If you are banned it will probably show you online viewing that classified ad in the members list but they will only see the ban screen.
