You attacked a man's character because he pissed you off. Plain and simple. You aint even man enough to to admit what you did when it is plain as day, nor are you ethical enough to admit when you are in the wrong and apologize.

And now you are trying to further this rumor by saying it is a FACT that the DNR was involved. You got proof that the DNR was involved Ed? You got proof to back up that FACT? Or was that just more of the rumor mill gossip and you are still trying to use gossip to assassinate the man's character.

As for DNR, again Ed, you're confused. Joe called the DNR on a gentleman named Rob for selling illegal animals or so Joe stated (there was never a case made against Rob so I doubt any of it was true to begin with). Since I know of Rob, I purchased my first BP from him but other than that have had no other contact with him, Joe decided to use his name as the person I was supposedly involved with on the firearms trade. DNR was called on by Joe as Joe took the role of stool pigeon for them. I think we called that a NARC back in school.

You know what Ed. I have never heard one negative thing about your animals Ed. Not one. However, as is evidence by this thread, there are numerous negative things out there about YOU. Which is more than enough reason for me to never do business with you. You've been proven a liar countless times now so how can anyone believe anything you say let alone an apology? Get real.

Let me phrase it another way.

Not too long ago a newbie member stated that she got a dragon from kevin dunn and that that dragon have AV and died. She then was dinged, by you, for something stupid and unrelated. At some point you stated that you had done business with kevin, but not the extent of that business.

So, are you NOW doing business with kevin? Were you doing business with kevin when you dinged the girl who got the dragon that died? Have you done business with kevin for a long time? Did you know he knew his dragons were EV positive? Were you trying to deflect negative attention from kevin by shutting up a newb? Were you abusing the mod status you bought?

You know me well enough to know that I'm not going to let this go. You should have just answered up the first time I asked. I suspect you were trying to deflect attention away from kevin which lead me down the road to wondering why you would do that which in turn lead me to the other questions I've asked in this post.

Now, it would seem to me, no one of consequence, that honest answers would be no problem for an upstanding guy like you, or like I thought you were. I would really hate to see you go the way matt did so, if you would be so kind, answer my questions honestly.

Dont you think maybe the ATF, FBI, State Police or County Police would be the ones pursuing illegal gun sales, not the Department of Natural Resources.

Rich, I've clearly demonstrated using Ed's own words, that he is issuing retaliatory feedback. A clear abuse of the system. I would encourage you to peruse through this thread and find it (page 14 set on 40).

I would also encourage the other mods to consider JimO's words about member abuse. Spreading nasty rumors, gossip etc with the sole intention of causing my reputation irreparable harm, is clearly member abuse and is worthy of Ed getting a dose of his own medicine via warning points. If he's man enough to issue it willy nilly then surely he's man enough to accept it when it's deserved.

Sammy, you beat me to the punch. For any of the reputable members here, I am more than happy to email you a copy of my FFL so that you can check the validity of my license as well as any complaints I have (none as of today's date). The simple fact that I still have my license should be more than enough evidence to show that Joe Haggard and Ed Clark are two pea's in a pod and are simply looking to harm the reputation of others. Had I truly tried to sell guns to a felon, then you could bet your last hard earned dollar that I would be typing this next to a cell mate.

I remember the Thread about the guns on Reptile auctions and it is pretty much as Bob and Bobby stated(to many Bobs around here) Griz AKA Bob had a listing offering to trade guns for snakes and as has been stated a thread was created about this.. As far as I know no one offered to take Bob up on his offer and the add was taken down after the admin noticed it.. A couple people wanted to make a big deal out of it but for a different reason as I remember they were upset over the trading of guns, my take was that they didn't like guns..

As far as this thing about the warning Ed gave, well I saw it pretty much as him asking the person to get a grip as they were flying all over the site posting about this ..Could have worded it better but oh well, next time Ed don't write anything as what you wrote is what caused the fuss.

Rich, I think it is you that needs to take a step back and rethink what you wrote as you missed the entire boat. I could not care less about your thoughts regarding this particular thread. However, correct me if I am mistaken, but I thought Karma system abuse was something that you took seriously given your prior statements regarding it. And THAT is what I was referring to (ie retaliatory abuse towards Christopher66) which has nothing to do with me other than I showed proof of. I certainly do not need your support with regards to the other Ed debacle. I can handle that on my own.

As for Ed slamming me back, the only thing I have seen is Ed getting his rear handed to him and most certainly not vice versa. Rich, my expectations of you doing the right thing has nothing to do with this thread. However, the evidence of Ed's wrongdoing is documented within this thread hence my referring back to it.

I am new to the warning point system but DThomas just introduced me to it. I am curious how this works. At the top of the thread there is a list for warning points. DThomas did not like the way I worded my subject line so he locked my "Good Guy" post for Vision. Then when I sent him a PM about it - I got 4 warning poits for not using a proper subject line. According to the list it is a 1 point infraction unless I read it wrong.

It seems more to me that this power is being abused when their is a mere disagreement as opposed to an actual violation. He deleted my post so the rest can not see it for their opinion but I am sure Webslave can. I also have the PM exchange but did not want to post that unless Webslave wants to see it.

What is the "fine" for a mis-understood subject line? Are we not allowed to question DThomas as to why our posts get locked without reprocusions? I did not call him any names or attack his character, I just expressed my frustration because he mis-understood what I wrote. My subject line was something like "Vision CB70 Racks - Great Product, Great Support". I purchased these racks directly from Vision. Vision is the name of the company and it is there in my subject line. CB70 is the model rack I purchased. What is misleading about this subject line? If I had done something so terrible why did I not get the points right away? He did not hit me with them until I question his closing of my post.

If this is the way it is, fine - just let us know prior to taking our money.

Vision is the name of the manufacturer I purchased the CB70 rack from. It is clearly stated in the subject line. I have the name of the company and the model rack I purchased from them. It is a joke you locked this thread but I see that you have all the power and can do as you wish. I paid my fee and have the right to post as so many others do. I will not post this again - I was simply trying to thank Vision for their great product and support and post for others to see that some racking companies are good. It seems that unless there is controversy, you are not happy. Sorry to disappoint!

There are several companies that sell the vision rack. You must specify which company you bought from in the topic line. It is not clear from your post. You can post, as long as it follows the rules. Your post did not. It has nothing to do with controversy.

In the amount of time it took you to write this PM, you could have posted a new thread in the correct format. However, you chose to get all worked up over something very minor. You are not the first to have made this mistake and most people don't have a problem re-posting a correct thread. Re-post or not, I do not care. The post in question has been deleted.

Fine - what can I say? You gave me 4 warning points for what the post from Webslave lists as a 1 point violation. I do not post on this forum often as you can see as I only get involved with what I have specific information about. I am not sure why you felt that what I posted was so wrong. It had the information you were asking for in the subject line and I answered in my following posts the questions posed by you and Clay. I will ask Webslave in the other post if this is the way it is and if so, I will leave you alone. It is truely not worth the time but it is a shame that this is where we are heading.

Chris, reread my posts. A few months back, you posted that Jeff Ronne was a good guy. Immediately, Ed Clark dinged your karma for that particular post. I, then dinged Ed for doing so as that showed his true character and lack of judgement. Ed then emailed me regarding the ding I gave him and stated that he only hit your Karma in retaliation for you hitting him earlier. A clear violation of the Karma system. This is NOT a negative towards you however it is towards Ed. It shows his willingness to breach the rules for his own purpose. As a mod, I expect more out of him but he keeps showing this board that he lacks good judgement.

I hope that makes more sense to you as nothing stated thus far by me was intended to be construed as being a negative towards you.

If there is anything I have learned from my time on this board its that what we find important probably aint even going to register on Rich's radar. And what was all over Rich's radar yesterday is not necessarily going to be on his radar today.

That is why I quit even talking to Rich about site related things. I got tired of trying to help, or what I intended to be help, just to find out that particular issue is no longer on his radar and getting treated like some kind of jerk for it. Kinda like you just were.
