• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I sent him snakes as part of a trade back in October of last year and he keeps making excuses as to why he can not ship the one snake to me, and has now resorted to ignoring any means of contact I have to get a hold of him. He has already sold or traded off the 4 snakes that I sent him and I contacted one of the people who ended up with one of them and she says the snake is very ill and was that way when she picked it up from him! It was healthy in my possession. She saw all his snakes and said they look thin, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Her and her fiance went back the next day and all her fiance's ball pythons he had traded to him the day before were all mislabeled for things they weren't. She also was told the snake I had previously had was an Argentine boa so she traded her hypo hogg for it. It was a pure Central American boa and I made that very clear to him. He is lying and cheating people. I don't even want his snake because it is probably ill if it is even alive. I just want people to be warned that this guy is SCUM!!!!!! Please share this!!!!

Where the trade was initiated? What were the details of this old (6 months?) trade? Your what for his what?
 
He only emails me on facebook. He claims his number is: 910-373-9691. He has moved since I shipped my snakes to him. He was in Buffalo, NY and moved to Lumberton, NC. I am not able to get an exact address on him there yet.

He had contacted me on one of my Facebook ads for the snakes I was trying to sell. He contacted me in September asking for 5 of my snakes to give me his female Genetic Stripe Ball Python. My snakes were: 1.1 Pure Central American boas, 1.0 Jaguar Carpet Python, 0.1 Irian Jaya Carpet Python, and I sent a 1.0 Hypo boa that didn't make it through shipping. In all that did make it the value was about $450 and it was $70-80 to ship it to him.

He kept telling me weather was too cold, he had no money, was busy working all the time, had to move, had a baby born, went to the hospital, has no money again... etc.

Good info! Thanks. I understand he's since moved from Buffalo to Lumberton, but is there a chance you still have the Buffalo address you shipped to?

I've had my fair share of run-ins with Walter as well, and I can honestly say that I'm not surprised at all that something like this happened...
 
That's unfortunate... Apparently he's still trading/selling/"buying" boas... (and posting RIDICULOUS pictures of himself and his snakes on FB).

I was really hoping that this had resolved itself... It would be terrible if anyone else got screwed by him, but I'm starting to get the impression that it's just what he does now...
