In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

watch out for CHAMELEON DEPOT!!

In all honesty I have not been to Jersey.....but my folks lived there in Trenton I believe it's been awhile but they told me they HATED it up there!! So....I know if my parents hated I wouldn't like it either!!

My mom hates lobster; I tried it anyhow, love the stuff. An open mind is a doorway that allows you to open your world...

Yo, why knock the whole state of NJ? Ever been here or are you basing your opinion on the fact that this guy has your panties in a bunch?

I am from Maine and have taken camping trips to the pine barrens several times. People from around here are astounded when I mention it. "You're going camping in NJ?".

Little do they know. Bass River State Park - Great Place!! We go in June and there may be 10 sites taken out of 300 or so.
Great herping trips.

Sure why don't you do that. Take the Soprano crew with you. Oh smokes..thats right....Tony got them all killed.

Come on guys lets get real. This e-thug crap isn't going to resolve the situation at hand.

Chamelon Depot: Mistakes happen...if you did it actually not realizing that it was thief (it's understandable) then just take them down and take pictures of your own animals and post a public apology.

I have made the same mistake before (not claiming the pic as my own) I copied a picture of a young man's new hatchling on another forum to ask questions (I was very interested in breeding then and didn't know that I couldn't do that. I wasn't claiming the picture as my own, simply asking questions about the development of the hatchling. Boy did I get flamed. I have never done it again and to prevent mistakes I had a professional do my site.

Really a public apology would do wonders for your business....much more than denying, threats, and picture modifications...it just makes the situation worse.

I like your screen name!! I actually collect mantis shrimp as a hobby as well!!

Thanks. I used to breed praying mantises a few years back, and the name just stuck.

But I think everyone will agree that this thread is getting way off topic.

Chameleon Depot: Using other people's pics was pretty foolish, but photoshopping the pictures to change the color and everything...that's not a very good idea in the chameleon industry considering color play a big role in the quality of the chameleon. Although, since the pics weren't even yours in the first place, you really got to get your act together. Good luck.

I'd really love to see this guy try to blame his web designer for the flipping of the photos and color changes. Of course you know, there is no web designer and, that he built the entire website himself, but did not, and still does not, have the testicles to say he flat out stole the photos to represent the sort of quality animals he may indeed have or may not even have for sale.

And the funniest part ..

You know nothing about me! But you post this stuff about me on the web thats slander and i know who you are now and you better remove this B.S. off the web, you have some balls you must be a kid to try and pull this stuff!
He talks a really big talk, making veiled threats, whining about slander, demanding the "BS" (the only BS is you, Scott) be pulled off the web. Hey Scott, what about Larceny by deception, Larceny by trick, Internet Fraud? And he's worried about slander! LMAO.
Oh, and by the way Scott ... we know who YOU are now, too!

I took the liberty of flipping the doctored "red" Veiled photos back to their original orientation so everyone can easily see the scam Scott thinks he's smart enough to try to pull.

Thats pretty amazing. What kind of program do you have to use to do that? It looks complicated to me, and certainly if I'm correct in that it is, it sure shows the length this guy went to to deceive potential customers.

Any decent photo editing program can flip-flop photos vertically or horizontally. Changing the color of the animal while leaving the rest of the photo untouched is a bit more challenging and the amount of work involved would depend on the quality of the program you use and tools it has.

With Adobe Photoshop it's all pretty easy. This took about 5 minutes. If I spent more time with it I could make the colors "nicer". It's simply a matter of using the selection tool and adjusting the colors.

Nice Turquoise, Adam ...

I'll trade you my rare Parisian Lavender for your Turquoise, but only if you'll throw in a rare Congo Cocoa-Puff Adder to sweeten the deal. LOL
