Who do I need to defend my self too????? I have a Job, Business, wife, kids (which on saturday my youngest is turning 1 and we have 90 people coming for a pool party) so I am too busy and frankly have enough of a life not to spend it posting on the BOI!!

Why would you assume that those of us who don't know you would consider the possibility that you put a check in the mail? We can't read your mind and all you have done is go on the defensive here. Angelo, we can't read your mind. All we can do is listen to what you have to say, and all you have spoken here is sarcasm and outrage, but you haven't given me a sense that you are not the person that she tried to make you out to be. You don't have to defend yourself, but do you want those of us who don't know you to walk away with only the impressions that you have left here? Maybe that doesn't matter to you, but it matters to anyone who might stumble across this thread while trying to decide whether or not to do business with you.

True, I don't have a number in parentheses that says I've done business with people who happened to be paid members, and capable of leaving trader ratings. Would you like to know what else I don't have? Unlike you, I've never had to hide behind multiple usernames to avoid the fallout from my Bad Guy threads on the BOI. Since, unlike you, I have none.

Can someone please tell me how to get ahold of angelo corsi. I bought two adult spiders and one adult pastel ball pythons from him, didn't ship right away due to weather. I went to call him and the phone number has been disconnected. I have sent him$1500.00 and I don't know how to contact him. Now I'm reading all this crap and freaking out because my search on him when I purchased these animals was positive. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just to let everyone know Angelo Corsi contacted me within 30 minutes of posting my last post. After talking with him everthing seems to be fine.

It's an interesting and noteworthy coincidence that being a part of a negative BOI thread about you seems to be a quick way of finally getting your attention.

I rarely come on the BOI's anymore but I did see this thread on facebook before seeing it here so I wanted to see what had come of it. I would have thought Jodie would have left it to FB since everyone jumped her case about buyers remorse almost instantly. It's kind of pathetic the world we live in where someone can't do a little research about a product before buying it. Yes I do label every single animal I sell if it has a wobble or anything out of the ordinary but I think that's what the U.S has come to. Ignorant consumers that think they deserve catered to and don't forget horrible customer service because no one wants to listen to these kinds of people anymore. Don't get me wrong if there is a true genetic flaw ie kink, duck bill, or whatever the case then it needs to be brought up but if a certain gene has a stigmatism on it, over the entire gene then that's your responsibility because it doesn't mean they WILL NOT BREED. I don't think they will but I wouldn't bet my life's wages on it. The same thing happened with caramels only to find out they do breed but have a little trouble doing it. Angelo if she did talk about breeding the female you should have told her the issue but that's a lesson I hope you learned, if that truly is the case. And for the record the money she paid for that girl is very much warranted on such an awesome pet quality combo!

That being said though, the only reason I know Angelo was from two months ago or so when we did a trade and everything went through perfect so I wouldn't judge him for being mad. I don't think it would be very fun to be on his side of a BOI thread. Two things need to be kept in mind.

1. Anger causes people to either be defensive or say things they don't mean.

2. Emotion and context can not be transferred through messages so you may not know how he meant all of his responses.

People who take the time to research on the BOI before transactions typically care enough to read what pops up, they can form opinions on their own afterwards. Good Guys often come from "Bad Guy" threads or vice versa. How they choose to handle it reflects on them more than a starter title.

Lucille and the others are just trying to help make things clearer for your potential customers. You believe you're in the right, show so, it may make things less confusing for readers in the future. If you provide proof, it'd leave no room for debate as to who's the good/bad guy. Honestly you'd really only be helping yourself~

I am relatively new to this hobby and don't have much experience with BP's or any snakes for that matter. I try to read as many BOI's as I can as I learn who to do business with and who to avoid. Don't get me wrong I love snakes and think all the morphs are incredible just don't know much. But as customer looking into this situation not a dealer or breeder, I feel I should voice my opinion. I am going to try and hit the most important (in my opinion) details, take them with a grain of salt if you wish.
1.) The nondisclosure of not being able to reproduce:
As a customer I see both sides, but the snake wasn't posted as being a breeder so I don't see a big problem, but understand where there is a argument. From reading this very long thread most of you are aware of this issue that have bred for a long time, it's the new people who do not know. Personally I would as much research as I could on any species or morph prior to purchasing, not wait until after I bought it! Especially price for said species/morph. Which apparently the price for this snake was pretty cheap, most breeder morphs are not cheap from what I have seen, so that should set off alarms, especially when not many others bid. And 5 mins on Google prior to bidding and this situation never happens! As a customer I want to know everything I can about what I am spending my money on before I buy it! So put more blame in the op on this problem!
2.) lack of communication:
I would like more proof on conversations and attempted tries if contact. A few hand typed emails (not screenshots or cut and paste) and oh all the rest I called and text but never showed real proof of those either I can not form an opinion on, not enough info to make an informed decision, so I blame no one!
3.) Refund:
The buyer purchased the snake and agreed to TOS of the website, should have done their research to begin with, and in my book was not intitled to a refund. The ad was very vague and did not have much info at all, should have contacted seller for more info right off the bat! The fact that he offered the refund makes him a good guy in my opinion and he didnt need to do that! As far as showing proof the refund was issued, I don't believe I saw where the op stated how they paid, maybe she did and I forgot that was alot to read! My first thoughts were maybe he sent a check or money order as refund, probably because i prefer to not use PayPal! All in all i give points to seller on this subject!
4.) Attitude!:
I think the buyer acted a little childish and jumped the gun especially after saying they were going to "SLANDER" the seller until she gets her way! Not the correct way to do business in my opinion! As far as the seller goes this is what hurt the most! I can understand your mad about the whole situation and the attitude to begin with was understandable. But a simple reply the refund was not done electronically i mailed a check or money order or whatever is all you needed to do! When you attacked other people posting it messed everything up for you in my opinion! So both of you loose points in this category!
At the end I think the op has done more harm to herself than to the seller. The lack of research, especially when your inexperienced as you say you are, the flaky responses and different answers and different reasons for wanting a refund, and then admitting you're going to slander to get a refund really made you look bad! And I don't think I would buy sell or trade anything with you based on the slander thing alone!
As far as the buyer I don't think the attitude was warranted when asked about how the refund was issued, one simple statement was all you needed and I, a customer, would have walked away happy with you on this thread! Would I do business with you? Maybe, but more research would be needed! But I didnt say no!
And one more thing, with a heading saying somebody screwed you, I don't care what icon is next to it, that screams bad guy thread not info thread!

So I won an auction on the Facebook Reptiles Auction page and I paid for the snake in full that night. It was Thursday Aug 2nd no shipping over the weekend, ok no problem. Come Monday it was way to hot to ship for that week it was in the 100's. I am new to the Ball Python world and had no clue that what I had won a Desert Yellowbelly Female would not produce healthy eggs and he didnt tell me anything either, even though we talked on the phone for nearly an hour!! So during our phone conversation he told me to contact him the following week to set up delivery well he wont return my calls and prior to me calling I found out the info on the Desert Females and I want my money back! He is not returning my calls my emails nothing! This is Corsi Morphs Reptiles. This is so not ok!! I don't have the snake he does because he never shipped it but he has my money!!!! If you see this ANGELO REFUND ME MY MONEY!!!!!

Which Reptiles Facebook Auction page did you buy her from? If you're talking about the main Reptile Auctions on Facebook, in the auction rules, it clearly states that if any animal is deformed or is in any other way a "pet only," the rules stipulate that it is necessary to fully disclose any issues that would make it a pet only. If the breeder used the following Facebook page:

then he should have obeyed the rules of the auction group and disclosed any information such as this, regardless of whether or not this is a well known issue or not.

Actually, if you look at the screen shot another member put up, it does look like it was posted by Corsi Morphs on 'The One and Only' Reptile Auctions FB group. If so, then I think the buyer is completely in her right to request a refund and may be entitled to complain to the group Mods. Do I think she should have done more research? Yep! Regardless, the breeder should have disclosed this in the auction, IMHO.

If there really is a child and she is not just a made up excuse, I'm concerned by what she took away from all of this.

On the one hand, it is good to show your kids that if you get done wrong, you can step up and try to do something about it.

On the other hand, if this very young person (7 or 8) is running a business and critters are being bought with no research, that is not a good lesson for her to learn. And if she ever reads here how her mom said she would slander another person that is definitely not a good role model for a young entrepreneur.

It looks like both sides made mistakes. Since the buyer is making herself scarce and the seller has said he will no longer post, we will never know if the promise of a refund was real or just a hush puppy.

She was simply stating that she would post her story all over the Internet, and she knew it would make the seller look bad.

Yes, the buyer should have done her research. Yes, she shouldn't have fallen all over herself making excuses for folks on the BOI. She should have just stuck to the fact that the seller never disclosed the fertility issues to her. That alone was a solid case for a refund in my opinion.

When I started reading this thread, I was annoyed and disgusted at the buyer for throwing a tantrum over something that comes up in any google search.

But now that I've read the entire thing, I feel for her. I don't know if I would ever sell to her, but I'd be more likely to sell to her than I would be to buy from the seller.

I think she was overwhelmed by the BOI. She wasn't prepared to be cross examined, she panicked, and made some poor choices with regards to her story. She also isn't one of those people that has a gift with words, and may have accidentally contradicted herself. That doesn't make her a bad person.

I think she has learned a lot from this experience. When I read the following post, I was impressed:

Hey I was reading up on the desert females I was unaware that no one has still been able to produce a viable clutch from them. Did you know this ?

are you kidding me??? We have only been doing this since last july when my then 7 year old daughter got her 1st ball python and a how to care for book and said I want to make babies daddy. So no I didnt!!
if you dont want to buy her because of that I understand I am now not happy! that he didnt tell me that and I am going to ask for a refund since he cant send her to me because of the heat anyways, so let me know ok

She posted this proof on Thursday. So the post that says yesterday was posted on Wednesday which is the same day this thread started. Up until that point she was talking to this gent about selling him this desert. She mentions nothing to him about trying to contact the seller to cancel. That means the "I have been trying for three days" statement was a complete lie.
