• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I love summer :D.....and the best part about weather like this is it makes the pool SOOOOOO nice. The water is quite pleasant, without that first shock of cold.

That's considered beginning to get hot out this way. We get a bit warmer then that quite often. LOL

But we don't have the humidity you guys have, except when the monsoons come.

Well, here on the eastern shore of Lake Erie, it's hotter than the hubs of HELL!!

It was 101 degrees in my van this morning before I hit the AC and cranked the windows down to cool it off!

I hate it also. Got 101 here Friday also. Power went out for 5 hours because a transformer blew. Luckily house didn't get too warm.

On the way back from the eastern shore of Virginia/Maryland on Saturday, the temperature reading in the car showing the outside temp was registering 105 degrees around 1:30pm. :ack2:

It FINALLY rained late last night!!

We're at 77 now-just about where I like it!!

I hope that the heatwave breaks fro everyone!! Especially those with temperature-sensitive eggs and animals!!

Sending good juju to everyone!!

Stay cool and safe, and protect your kids and animals!!
