It hatched yesterday!! It's our first! From a patternless father, Cotton - who is now owned by Terry - and a normal het. patternless mother, Dionna - who is owned by Shannan, I believe. Crystal said she's perfect! (the hatchling!) And it looks like we have 2 more patternless waiting to hatch!!!!

It's ironic, ya know.. Crystal & I finally decided to both sell most of our leos and quit breeding, and NOW we start hatchling out patternless babies!! ARGHHH lol :) But we're still VERY happy, nonetheless!! :):):)

Congrats Dusty and Crystal!

Very cool! I think you better rethink getting out of LEOS!

lol right now, it'd be a bad idea to rethink it. I don't have enough $$$ to care for more than a few animals - at least until the $$ starts flowing from my teaching job :) I don't have the time, either... Teaching is a 24/7 job!

But I WISH!!!!!!!!!

cooool,
I think patternless is the most underrated morph in geckos. I mean they their bodies look like rainbows (green on the eyes, yellow on the body, orange on the carrotail, and purple on the tail) That consists of all the colors on the color wheel!!!, I think theyre the most appealing,
Heres my Patternless,

Im suprised noone has done anything with the morph

Is there really that much you can do with it? Obviously you can add in CT, but really thats it. You can refine color and whatnot, but it seems hard due to color changes as babies. It seemed like you were trying to get a CTPA going on, and we'll probably start seeing those soon. I like the patternless' also.

I was thinking the other day, we've got albinos x patternless and albinos x blizzards, but what would blizzard x patternless be like?

Food for thought.

Michael

Suppossedly back then the banana blizzard was double homozygous for both patternless and blizzard. But then prehistoric pets had unhappy customers who crossed them with patternless and got normal babies so instead of refunding their money, they just redefined "banana blizzards". Now banana blizzard is just a blizzard with yellow highlights. Anyhow, Im pretty sure a real double homo exists, but I havent seen anyone with a proven banana blizzard. Problem is... they look so similar to regular high yellow blizzards, you wouldnt be able to tell unless you crossed it with a patternless and a blizzard. As for patternless the morph, there are tons to do, You can incorporate any selective bred trait into it, ie. size, snow, melanin, tangerine, CT, even high yellow.

Yes I have Dionna! Rotten girl she is.....She steals my attention everytime I am near her bin....Her tempermant is amazing! Next year I'll pair her with either Piglet my light PA or Oynx my superdark PA. Should be some great sweet babies!
Let me know if you want one Dusty! :)
