• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I wish he hadn't gotten banned until he told us what his beef is about. Or at least what sort of recreational drugs he is playing with. I could use a laugh or three after the day I had today....

I'll bet a lot of people wish they could run a site into the ground as well as I'm doing with this one..... :rolleyes:
 
Wow....that's kind of boneheaded. This site has changed a bit in the relatively short time I've been here. While I don't think many of the changes have been for the better, blowing up on the site owner isn't going to do any good, and it's going to make one look like a total baffoon. If there's an issue with the way things are done, there's plenty of other sites out there. Nobody's forcing you to post here.

Keeping your cool amongst people like that must have been murder for your blood pressure, too...yikes!!!

Something that kept popping into my head while reading this thread (took me a couple pages before I realized it was for 2009) and seeing the responses of the antagonists....

Brain engaged at ALL times!!!

Would certainly have solved a lot of issues.....
