    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is this the vision of the boi you have?
While reading the B.O.I. I noted a post by a Rich Z. who got ripped of by a buyer. Doing what so many of us would do, Rich brought it to the Boi. Strange thing though.... while he's posting he gets himself all confused and it comes to light that Rich Z, complainant is also Webslave (I guess you would consider him the global moderator).

Why is this a problem? IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAD RICH Z aka Webslave been totally up front to begin with. But that still isn't all that bad. Definitely weird, since it would have been just as easy to post as ONE PERSON, either Rich Z or Webslave. I believe coming onto the B.O.I. board and using more than one I.D. is a no no, is it not?

Then I see an add posted on a page for this Luis Torres dude.

Now, let me ask you.... Have you ever thought that you just didn't get what you wanted from the BOI, so your just gonna pay to have an add placed to shout out about someone who wronged you? He did pay right?

Hmmm, lets see, how would fauna look if a bunch of folks decided to do that. Pretty bad. IT WOULD LOOK PRETTY BAD!
So I go back to the original BOI board cuz frankly, I can't believe what I'm seeing here. That's when I notice this.

I could come up with a million sarcastic comments about the perks of being the global moderator here but you can come up with them on your own.

The BOI has been a force for good in the reptile world and should not be abandoned but this behavior is self serving, a conflict of interest, deceptive and frankly, extremely creepy!

I do realize that Rich has his loyal following. Up until this morning I would have considered myself a fan, with some concerns at times about just how one sided the discussions can get sometimes but a fan non the less. I think that behavior like this puts everything Rich is associated with, in question.

You should stop posting this everywheres in the forum. me and rich doesn't see eye to eye alot but rich has done nothing wrong in this situation. you on the other hand should pay attention more often than you do. this is a useless post, if you dont want to be here then just sign out of the forum and do not return.

I just keep clipping and snipping all the nastiness. In the meantime complaints are being filed and I'm sure that will take a whole lot longer. I pulled up information I did not know about webslave, he got totally nasty with me and threatened to ban me. I asked to have my account deleted and not only was his answer no, but more like, ha ha ha , no. SO. FINE. you can call me names, you can do whatever you feel you really need to do. I just want off your list of subscribed members finally and forever. I know what sort of person I am and so do many other people. Thinly veiled threats and hateful remarks are not going to make me just turn tail and run from a bunch of hateful shit. SO, you keep posting and I'll keep clipping everything you post.

Well, if you didn't like how the site was run, you could have held your tongue, left the site, never returned, and been forgotten. Instead, you had to stir up a bunch of drama, pulled a lot of attention to yourself, and now whining because you can't delete the evidence of your idiocy. Just because YOU want it hidden now, doesn't mean anyone has to bow down and do your bidding. You made your bed, now lie in it. ;)

I have never known Webslave to be upset at all if one disagreed with his point of view, as long as one did so with tact and courtesy.
Your account isn't going to get deleted, but your are sure creating a terrible rep for yourself. And make no mistake, this is no island here on Fauna, someone with a really bad rep here, finds that people all over the world know it.

AND make no mistake, it is no association or point of view that is creating said bad rep, YOU and YOUR BEHAVIOR have created it. You lack courtesy, and you are behaving like my kids did when they were two and didn't get what they wanted at the grocery store. Unfortunately, I cannot swat your rump because you sholey need that done, but I'm not going to do that, I'll just let you act like a fool and reap the consequences.
