Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

By the by, I believe that is just what I was doing with my first response to Vinny in that thread. I was very nice even though I have teeth marks in my tongue from biting on it. You can't put this one me, so don't.

I beg to differ as to just how bad that thread had gotten for it to be moved to *HELL*. If you read it, which Lucille obviously did, then you would see that, in that particular thread, there was no malice aforethought, no demeaning comments and even (to stay on-topic) a "welcome".

So if I want to get up on my pony and Prance around the front entry hall on it, I will. Shoot, I'll even pick up the horse pucky, but don't tell me I don't have the right to feel the way I do.

Vinny's story can be as fabricated as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. That is not my issue with the movement of that particular thread. My issue is where it was moved to and what prompted the move. If people are ripping him a new one in the venomous forum then by all means move those threads. Those threads. As this one was not *HELL* material and you know it.

I was going to send you a P.M. Lucille, until I happened to see the post here in the "HELP!!" forum and I know that you know the movement of that thread prompted that post. You responded to it and so did I. I am still not quite sure how to feel about that. I still like you, I still look up to you. I just don't have to crane my neck up as high anymore.

While we're on the subject. I was willing to abase myself and apologize profusely for being wrong...if I thought I was. Perhaps we should all take responsibility for our actions.

Everything I posted is there in black and green. I stand by my convictions. I did not post to be condescended to or patronized, I posted my feelings and thoughts on a matter. No-one has to agree with me, but I do have a right to my opinions.

Yes, yes they are. I still don't have to agree with them. I can still like people I don't agree with. Sometimes I don't agree with you, but I would like to think that aside from thinking I'm a little noisy sometimes, that you value my input as you would anyone's.

I put a lot of thought into most things I post, sometimes I shoot from the hip. But I am always ready to either stand by my convictions and/or admit when I am wrong.

I gotta go feed my pony now.

Maggie, I thought that is what I was doing by my public post rethinking where I moved this post at 4AM or thereabouts.
I am not perfect; but I reconsidered when faced with a different perspective. What more could you ask for? :)
 
Yer still awrite in my book! I did come on like a feight train from nowhere and for that I do apologize. It was uncalled for.

Nobody thinks clearly at four in the morning! I don't go to bed until four in the morning- LOL! Now that the thread, such as it is, is in a less volatile environment Vinny can sink or swim on his own.

Let's just chalk this up to lack of caffiene?

I doubt you would be eaten alive. The majority of what goes on in hell, while it may be immature and unruly, is done in jest. The only people who would probably be torn to shreds there would be noted bad guys. (Though there are some pot shots here and there that may not be necessary.)
 
Really, HELL hasn't been that bad at all lately. I have even participated in a few threads myself, although to date I have not seen any reason to dig down into the darker recesses of my vocabulary in order to do so.
 
Also being one of those folks I think EVERYONE should join hell!!!!!! Seriously, hell isnt about beatdowns and trashing its more about venting, getting stuff off your chest that you cant say elsewhere, telling some really good jokes or posting some great toons, Its pretty much a place like your back porch where you can sit and talk with your friends and not have to worry about the cops or moral majority jumping on you for what you have to say. All you Non Hell members can think whatever you want about it, and think its this dark black hole but unless you know better i think its best not to comment on what you have know idea about whats going on there.
 
I was one of "those folks" myself, before *HELL* went to paid membership. Look in the archives, you'll find me.

So I do indeed know what it can be like in there when the gloves come off. This incarnation may be a kinder, gentler version, I don't know. I know it's a place to let your hair down, get a few things off your chest and throw some mud around without having to worry about washing the walls. I've thrown mud with the best of you.

I kind of like having to stretch my brain in the regular forums and still call a spade a spade without cussing. I'm a hillbilly. I cuss. It's genetic. :raspberry

Someday I may feel like slinging some slop and getting dirty. Till then, ten bucks will buy me lunch! :)

You never know until you try right? Most people that have been on here a while find thier little niche of fauna and most of thier posting accurs there while there are some that just post everywhere and anywhere. My posts usually are in the leo, gecko,feedback,soundoff and yes the hell forum. These are the areas or forums i find most entertaining or amusing or interesting to me as a person. You may very well not like some or any of those forums and choose to do most of your posting elsewhere. All in all I think this site pretty much offers a little of everything for its members no matter what thier specialty or personality is. Like the other 33 hell members i like being able to say whatever is on my mind and if any slinging or such does occur i would like to think i am man enough or adult enough to handle it. All forums have thier benefits and thier drawbacks, a drawback to hell may be that you make someone mad with something you say and get some attitude thrown your way, but you know what, you have the right and the ability to fight back and say whatever you want in return without anyone hindering what you have to say and who you have to say it about (except of course rich) which is only fair because its his site and it is not a good thing to deficate on someone elses kitchen floor so to speak unless you want to be thrown out the front door. So its up to you. To some of us its well worth 10.00 a year if not more for HELL, to you it may be a waste of time and web space. So i say....To each his own!!!!! Hope to see you in hell!!!!!!
