Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok, I just HAD to post this story. I had Little man out tonite spending some quality time. Well he climbed off my hand onto the couch and we were watching him. My Fiancee and I. He wiggles over to the one end and sits and starts starring at our black stereo remote. Well then Jeff turns it off and Gex makes a short loud click, and dashes the other way!! Our educated guesses are it made a click when he shut it off and he thought it was another Gecko!!!!!!!!!!! Crazy!! We know the stereo clicks we just don't pay any attention. Thats the only reason we can think of. It was weird, and cute! Everything he does is just to cute though!! We put him back in his tank when he started bookin it, and he guarded his entrance for like 5 minutes, and then slowly calmed down. I did also get him to click tonite by surprise. I wanted to check his underside, and he wasn't happy with me, but when Jeff did it he was totally fine! Go figure! We all know who's Babies that is!! It was the first time Jeff heard his clicks, it was like the third for me. Its always awesome to hear, except for the fact that they don't like whatever your doing a lot. Anyway, I'm gonna go to bed, just wanted to share my weird story! Anybody else's Geckos make weird noises for regular house hold appliances??
 
that's cute Kristin. Leos do the most interesting things don't they ? Well if you're a leo lover they do! I've told silly stories to friends and they just don't see the situation as I do. Ah well. their loss !
 
here here!!! I'll agree to that, I don't know anyone around my area who has anywhere near the amount of interest that I do in my herps. They all think I've got some issues
 
hey we maybe do have issues but doesn't everyone for one thing or another ? It just happens that we have issues that are COOL . It's especially bad if you're a female. Alot of folks can look at a guy and think okay yeah it's a guy thing but if you're a woman they think you're supposed to run screaming from the room just at the mention of a reptile. They just don't know what they're missing ......
 
Oh yeah! I agree with everything you guys are saying! I don't know anybody around here that likes Reptiles or even has any! I get that girl thing around here to, especially for my Snake and my Tarantula! The ignorance in this world about Exotics all together! (Any Spider is considered Exotic) I've meet people who hate dogs even. lol I try and tell my Reptile stories to people and they look at me like I'm crazy, or anytime I say Jakers is cute. See these people just aren't cool! I even have a neighbor girl in college who calls herself a Christian but she kicks my cat!!!!! Those ones really get me. How contradicting!!!!!!!!! Oh well, all I have to say is I plan on staying in the cool club having my babies until I can't clean their tanks some day, when I'm like 80!! I am SO glad SOMEBODY appreciates my cute story!
 
I know, we are on a lone boat in a sea of non-reptile-likers...
Luckily i have a good deal of friends who share my passion :)
