    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

well , i wasnt going to buy any more snakes for a while.....

but i couldnt pass this critter up . i am usually not interested in colubrids but i have always been a big fan of the scarlet king snake , so when i was offered an adult male scarlet for 20 bucks i couldnt say no . he is a proven breeder having fathered a clutch last year and one this year . i am now hoping to find a female between now and breeding season so i can raise a few of these beautiful critters as well as the balls and boas . any ways he is about 14 or 15 inches long and sweet as can be . so without further adue heres some pics .

Scarlet kings average 14-20 inches as adults. They're small snakes.

thanks yall . the cage with the cig pack was just a temp home till i got his tank ready . he's in a 10 gallon tank now . he's very cool , but he's almost never seen except when its feeding time . he's been eating like a pig(a very smal pig) 2 pinkies a week .

Be happy that you have one that is eating rodents. It's a bear transferring them to rodents sometimes.

they can be a bit of a problem sometimes , but this little guy is all about eating , lol .
