Raised in fresh water, I had this little guy since he was about the size of a nickel, about 4 months later he's on his way to being a monster. He'll eat several times a day on any kind of turtle food you drop into the water. He spends a good bit of time basking with other turtles and is the only one in the tank that tries to catch the fish.
