In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well... this sucks....

I had something similar. Bee to pastel, 1 good egg 5 slugs. I new it was happening when she went into her pre lay shed. I was surprised I even got 1 good egg. Maybe at least one of us will het the odds on a 1 egg clutch.

This will be the 3rd year missing out on hitting a killerbee..... :(

Looks like I'll be giving up and buying one in 2 months. :yesnod:

sorry about the slugs, But i bet the one egg is a queen bee for you.

Thanks!!

Yea I figured as much as well, she really only had one decent lump in her (looked like she ate a small rat or something). When she got so close to laying I knew she was gonna have slugs and one or two eggs. That's prolly why I took it so well, haha.

Hope your killer bee is in that egg!! Nature works in mysterious ways and I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.

Thanks Tere!!

Aaron, I'm pretty sure the smaller girl is about to ov. Yuri and I checked on em last night and she is looking big, building nicely! Also your normal is looking like she is going into glow. Looks really light. She crammed herself in her water bowl. We both agreed all three of your girls are gonna take and would be surprised if they didn't. :) The normal refused the last 2 weeks so that's a good sign. We took bets on how many eggs they're gonna have.

Bigger BB I said 8, Yuri says 7. Smaller I say 6-7, she thinks 5. Normal I say 10. She says 11. Wanna take guesses? Lol. Also we think my spider female is gonna take. We will have to see. :)

Those numbers are awesome! Haha. I can't guess just yet... I wanna see them first. :) haha. I hope my girl gives me more! But I can't complain with 10. Haha. That'll be awesome if your spider took also! Looks like we will be coming down in few months! Haha.

Sooooo..... Mark and I cut our cinnies eggs together yesterday. After seeing a fire in those eggs (I put my fire male in with her as last minute breedings and he locked twice with her) it surprised me so really had me thinking of what could be in the bee egg. As I did the same thing and he locked once with her. Didn't get anything fire or fire combo but what I did get I'm totally happy with!! I seriously had myself convinced it was gonna be a normal.

For those that don't wanna go read from the beginning, she gave me 1 good egg and 4 slugs.

Here's some crappy pics for your enjoyment and to give ya a bit of a head scratcher, hehe. I know I'm mean. :p

Also, I did cut her egg open early, day 47. I did my research before I decided to do it (researched for a good hour)

(I know Mark I said I wouldn't, but curiosity got the best of me. My user name fits, lol)

47 is fine :) As long as you keep it from getting dry or moldy, you'll be good

I can't wait to see more piccies!

Thanks Abby, yea I read where ppl were cutting at day 30. I couldn't do that. Fear of losing the babies.

Wish I woulda taken pics of when I did cut it. You could see clear as day what s/he is.

I'm leaving it be, only checking on it once a day. Good thing I have the eggs from the cinny clutch to hold my attention. A gorgeous little cinny is almost fully out of the egg! I hope its a girl!!! Keeper if it is!

If it shifts by tomorrow ill get more pics.

I would never cut at 30. I've cut as early as 46 (I was worried about the eggs) and everything went fine but by the time day 55 rolls around, the egg goop is pretty gross regardless of how clean you keep things and it's just a hassle really. I can't imagine prolonging that period by a few weeks. I cut my last clutch at 48 but won't be cutting my next till 50.

Congrats on the lil' Cinny :)

Congrats on the baby!
I always wait till day 55 to cut and usually by then they are pipping anyway. It's hard though and already this year it's killing me. First clutch of the year and the most exciting clutch I had in a while (Pied by het pied) is on day 45 now....10 more days......

Anxious to see your baby to hold me over!

I squinted and know there is lesser but not sure if that is spider I see or might be bee. Hmmm def a head scratcher. I do beleive you got what you want though. Is it a Queenbee? Congrats on salvaging one and it being what you wanted.

Thanks, lil stinker teased me. I must have woken up 5 time throughout the night, last time I woke ip s/he was almost out, then when I wake up for real and stay up I go check and s/he went back in its egg. :/ Lol.

Has a nice black back on it through from what I could tell.

Congrats on the baby!

Hehe, ill take another pic tonight if I can get a good shot.

Geeesh! Kelly! What a tease! I am squinting at my computer screen trying to see what that baby is...LOL. Can`t wait to see it all the way out.

LMFAO!! That was my entire point. Hehe.

Don't think I got the queenbee. As a matter of fact I'm certain on that. And the male bred to her was a black back butter, not a lesser  Good guess though!! I do wish I had hit the triple but hey, I think I got good odds with a single egg. Could have been a normal.

All the info I'm giving for now!!

A little update. Day 52. Should be outta the egg in no time. Cut a decent window since its so close.

Hehe cause I'm Wikid!!

The recent pics should be easy to tell what it is. Male or female I don't care either way. At least I got ONE double this season.

Should be outta the egg by the time you visit, but the others will be going into shed by then.
