It's known in Spokane that she both uses and sold out of her store front the prescription drug Oxycontin. If you read the news in Spokane there was for a while a pretty serious pharmacy robbery ring in Spokane that was finally broken up in the late summer. Wendy's store closing is following very closely behind these arrests. Connect the dots folks. Reptiles were not the main products or addictions at Reptile Addictions.

It won't hurt to have yet another one hang himself with his own rope. We've seen people come on here and continue to go on and on about someone who is soooo bad.. only to eventually find that they themselves are involved in something shady or have been posting nonsense.

I could post something that looks just like your "new information" email saying you dress in little girls dresses and suck your thumb. Would that be considered proof of something? Nope. Plus.. that's 3rd party quoting. You didn't see her, and the person didn't post it. So now I would totally expect for a new account to suddenly open the same as yours to post it going "It's totally true and he's the bestest person ever."

You should realize, you're only moving the focus of the thread from WEndy to yourself. Information about what Wendy has done, is doing is already posted. You haven't added new information, proof of wrongdoing or actually, anything of worth so far. Could we get the thread back on track?

To the best of my knowledge I believe it is being ran by Wendy Childs. If you caught the lastest and greatest info I posted you now know that she has been evicted from her previous "superstore" location.

So I can't say for sure this is Wendy's new store location, but the "Cheapest Feeders in Town Banner" is for sure identical at the very least to the one she hung at her previous two locations. Notice also the neon Zoo Med sign which a retail location obtains by buying a certain footage of Zoo Med product. She proudly boasted about being a "preferred" Zoo Med dealer on her website. There is a Craigslist posting in Spokane for this location that goes up daily but it is usually flagged down in a matter of minutes once it is up.

This is all true...but the point of this thread (and theoretically all the threads on the BOI) is not to convince Wendy of her wrongs...but to get the information out there for others to consider when deciding who to buy from. Yes, people will try to confront Wendy herself...but this is to allow others to see how she responds to such confrontation...not for the purpose of trying to convince Wendy of anything.

The constant bashing for nothing but the sake of bashing and laughing at someone you don't like.... ...not helpful for anyone.

I've done a trade with Rasmussen's Reptiles. I don't believe he's affiliated with Wendy, but I do know he does great business with great animals.

Name is Mike Annunziato. I have been a herp hobbyist for about 20 years and have settled into Cresteds/Radiated Tortoises and certain Beardeds. I have dealt with Wendy Childs on several occasions but this has been the worst. The only responses I get are the ones warning me not to threaten her.

She recently took my info for several cresteds and some gecko diet. After three weeks I finally got the geckos but no food. Two of the three geckos were different than the ones I paid for and I have never received the food. She was apparently in a car accident but the time from that to shipping was still out of control since she had since posted more pics of animals for sale and was capable of getting around.

The money is trivial but the lack of character is astounding and I finally agree with the majority of posts on the site.

Wendy Childs, in my opinion, is a rip off artist.

Thanks and I'm sorry but I've given her many documented, and still retained, opportunities to refund money for wrong geckos and food that never shipped.

Tyler, it's more of a lack of response to texts I've sent asking for explanations, the actual food, etc. Every week or so I would send a text asking if the food was coming, the geckos were wrong or that I hadn't ordered food from my usual supplier and was screwed because I believed she had sent it. I either received no response or a threatening one if the tone of my text was strong enough. One normal response was/is "I don't know what you're talking about". At that point I'd forward the previous text I had sent so she knew I was not blowing smoke. I still have texts back and forth plus sent PM's but unless there's a need I won't waste everyone's time re-stating what's been posted to date.

I merely wanted to put my two cents in based on my dealings with her. Overall I would say 95% of the people I buy from and sell to have been great to work with and I probably do 7-10 transactions per month when the weather is okay to ship.
