Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello,

Egg laying is around the proverbial corner and this will be my first experience with hognose eggs. I've read through dozens of "care sheets" and various websites that that advise the use of vermiculite as an egg incubation medium. However, I can't seem to find a general consensus on the appropriate vermiculite to water ratio. I'm finding everything from 1:1 - 2:1 - 4:1 by weight...
Any advice on the ratio will be appreciated. Does anyone have any other best practices for incubation?
