What actualy is a true hybino

People talk about hybinos and I assume they are talking about a albino sht. Am I wrong? post pics if possible.

it is when you have a double mutation consisting of hypo ct & albino. Kelli @ hiss, ruben @ taino and marcia @ GGG all have striking examples of this facinating double mutation.

they tend to resemble a top quality super hypo carrot tail with red eyes and no black pigment.

it is also refered to as a "sunglow" which is a term more commonly used in boas (b. constrictor) and cornsnakes.

I saw a pictures KelliH had of a SHTCT with like 2 small spots on its tail tip. The only way to see if its one or the other is the shade of its spots or breed it. lol

Albinos don't have the same eye color as non albino leos.....

I believe it was Ray Hine that coined the term "hybino" (hypo-albino) when he produced the first SHT x Tremper that displayed both characteristics of the parents. Ron Tremper has his 'Super-Tangerine" albinos, and other breeders have come up with their own terms for basically the same morph, like 'hyglow' and 'sunglow'. Now, Kelli from HISS is creating incredible 'hybinos' with the Bell Albinos!!!

your killin me kelli!!! not only are they probably some of the only bell hybinos IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE....but look at the carrot tails on those guys!!!

I feel that since Hine coined the name "hybino" for the albino SHCT's, that a true hybino is of Hine lineage. Any other (IMO) is an albino super hypo tangerine, and not a tru hybino.

id also like to add that the Ray Hine Hypo is the only form of hypo that is not simply linebred (its codominant). combining albino with any other hypo would result in tangerine albinos or hyglos. from what ive seen hyglos tend to resemble aptors and not hybinos.
